Ok, an abandoned pier (sailors!), nearby cemetry cave (underground!). Remember, it is a _secret_ passage. Look for something in the cave to push to open it. BTW, there are other secret passages in the game, too.
Thanks found it. Must have looked at it ten times. Jeez. One last question. I cannot find a spell for unlock know where I can buy one? I cannot get into the locked room in the cave in blood forest.
It's been a while since I played that part of the game. I remember a series of switches on the wall near one door in that cave. Are there switches nearby? If so then you need to arrange them in the correct combination of positions (up or down) to unlock the door. There are some doors that do not open until you get the key. Usually these are related to quests or beating one of the bosses.
No I got that part. It is one of two red doors that are locked and trapped. One I got open but the other will not unlock. It is before you reach the Oyo the Shaman and his three skull quest.
Spell for Unlock - spellbooks spawn relatively randomly in the scroll-merchants inventory. Visit them often and you will see it at some point. Or you will find it as loot. Until then, buy some scrolls of Unlock. There is also an NPC who hangs around the cave entrance in daytime. If you agree to check what is going on in the cave, he'll give you a key.
Do you know how to access the broken ladder in the abandoned mine? What is the deal with the jeweler and the nogur? Any hints I have talked with both the jeweler and nogur but the jeweler won't maintain the conversation.
brilliant hints here mates. it has been long long since i played heroes of might and magic for instance and ... i think i am rusty when figuring out puzzles etc.
Help needed Does anyone know how to access the ladder in the abandoned mine and what do I need to do with the jeweler and the nogur quest? I have talked with both but it dead ends with the jeweler. Anyone able to help?
Just read a few pages before. This should give you a good idea on how to solve the Nobleman's Inheritance quest.
Strider- Have you tried going back to talk with the deceased nobleman's daughter (the lady who lives directly across from the Vastares palace)? Also you might want to work on your persuade skills before you confront the jeweler with what you know. Isilel- I'm not sure if you're still looking for trainers but the tailor in Mithra trains in light armor and the blacksmith trains in heavy weapons. If you need someone to teach you blocking...try the military camp outside of Mithra. snowmani-I can't believe how much I'm enjoying playing this game the second time around. There are so many quests, dungeons, and other interesting things I somehow managed to miss the first time (ie. the mystery of the rusty chest in Phryn.) Although I agree with you, it's a bit more challenging to try to play as evil character
Don't they all? I wish the skill training was more evenly distributed between tailors and smiths, with the tailors getting more dex-oriented ones. Thanks for the other info! I am still doing quests at the Monastery, so the trainers are a loong way off. BTW, do you know who, if anybody trains Accuracy? I love chucking knives when an enemy dances back, but my Derth mage misses a lot.
No, the tailor in Phryn trains in repair. Unfortunately, you'll have to wait until you get to Mithra for a trainer. When you arrive in the city, seek out a streetwalker named Rena who hangs out near the library. This lady can teach you a thing or two...about accuracy In the meantime, I'd suggest hitting the library in Vastares to purchase a book on Accuracy, "Essentials of the Amazon Arts Book", which will raise your skill by five levels. (There is also another library in Mithra with books that offer increases of + 8)
hey guys. Im pretty much finished with the major vastares nobleman quest. I was wondering who the best person to give the chest to is? I know you can give it to the nobleman and the jewler and i personally prefer the jewler, but is there anyone else?
well the thing is about the nobleman that i already got a better armor, just with less enchantability. I cant find anyone to enchant more than i can handle yet anyways. So im still wondering who else you can give the chests to?
Hey Guys! Could use some help here: I'm in the Water Cavern right now...below the Lake of Brendan...and I can't find out how to get out there. I activated the switch to open the locked door and I moved the wall via the second switch behind the locked door. But after that I'm stuck... To the left and to the right in this new corridor there are two green-sparkling "shields"...and at the end of the corridor there is a weird looking object (some sort of teleporter which I can't use)... Any hints!? Greetz, Flip Well you can give the chest to the jeweler-woman if you didn't have her arrested already. And after that you could give the will either to the nobleman or to his...is she his sister...well I don't know...at least to the woman opposite of the castle.
SPOILER! what you do is you face the green shield things. Then you take one step in the direction away from the teleporter and you touch the flag hanging on the wall. that should bring up a dialogue box which says you hear something magical or whatever
Thanks zero!! I already touched the flags some times but nothing happened...and now it works...pretty strange... But thanks again.
As for the nobleman's chest, you can give it to 4 or more different characters - now I remember at least 4 of them but it's up to you to find them all. : ) (Just a hint: one of them is not on the really legal side of the law...)
