You can go to more than one expansion--if you have them enabled and you can get there from wherever you're starting. Some expansions require you to start from Mithria, others you can get to from Matras because they're low level. Then when they're enabled, go there and mark some locations and then you can move from one to the other. I hope this helps. If I'm not understanding, please let me know. Of course, if you're playing the standalone game, you can just play the standalone game. If you're playing the Quest or Quest Gold, you can enable all the expansions once you buy them and once you're a high enough level to go to the higher level expansions. : ) Right now there are a number of low level expansions and a number of high level expansions. : )
Ok so you can have more than one expansion enabled in a game at one time? S I could select where I want to go from the port out of a list Of enabled expansions? Ima noob
I have 5 enabled and I have marks in all five. Try it and if it doesn't work for you come back. You can delete the physical expansions from your device once they're enabled so you don't clutter up your device. But make sure the expansions are enabled and you can move around before you do that. : ) There's nothing so wonderful as being a noob. It means you have a whole lot of game time left to explore. : )
We will try not to be cluttered in the new game we're working on. : ) Apple calls that adhering to the Human Interface Guidelines I think. : ) Which basically means putting yourself into the shoes--fingers rather-- of the player and making it comfortable and beautiful at the same time. : )
I really don't know why people are mean to noobs I don't see the big deal or even a reason to be angry.
Especially because they were new to the game at some point P.s.Does anyone know a good way to level up from level 8? P.p.s what's with attracting attention of the theives guild? I've tried everything!
The Quest is an amazingly detailed game with lots of content that deserves an outlet for discussion; but it also came out almost exactly 2 years ago (on the 20th) so doesn't get a lot of general discussion here. There are multiple other forums and website dedicated to The Quest that might suit you. If nothing else the developer has an uncanny presence here swooping in to answer QUESTions or comments. Since editing an existing post doesn't "bump" the thread it's possible no one noticed.
Because the game is 100 years old? I would love to see a The Quest 2, with better graphics, nothing fancy but a but better, and less restricted in how you control your character by not making it grid based. It's already an impressive game, but it doesn't really stand well compared to newer games, much because of the controls.
I actually just recently bought The Quest Gold and have been enjoying it. I'm not far in though. My only issue is sometimes you need to rely on skills like persuasion like the quest near the start where you have to go get that boy to recruit him. I kept failing when I dressed the girl up as him but I read you need to have a 26 persuade skill do succeed. I wouldn't have known that if I didn't look it up.
I dunno, it would be awesome , but the entire 1st game would have to basically be rebuilt to work with it
I'm doing the quest where I need to go into the Amazon Cave. I found the area on the map by searching online where I needed to go but it just looks like a bunch of marks on the ground. How do I enter the cave?
Anyone? I bought a rope still no luck. Issue resolved. Problem was I wasn't aware I had to talk to Nadia's husband to get the location of the Amazon Women's cave.
Quick question for vets of the game. I'm in the crypt in the graveyard and I just located the secret smugglers room. Is it a crime to steal all these stolen goods? Do I have to leave them, will I be a criminal for stealing them?
Haha. I did and noticed my crime didn't go up. Then I did the quest for that chick where I had to break into the Inn and she cleared my bounty anyway. Damn this game is fun.
