By the way, I'm a Nogur fighter and proud to be one!!

Medianotzu is right--try to take on some quests and complete them -- then move on----you may need to level up to complete some of the quests--or you may need to complete some to get certain objects to complete others--but that's all good--it's a bit like real life. : )

Not in anyway. Did you look at any of the screenshots or even read the description of the game?

I really want to like this game, but reading the text on my 4G device (Retina) is painful. I understand the art can't/won't be changed to the higher resolution, but I really do wish that the text could be altered.

I put a little time in with Aralon (probably 15 hours), but it was very unsatisfying as a role-playing game. It is a decent adventure game in general (and basically everything Ravensword was expected to be), but lacks any real depth. I really wanted to love it, but I just like it.

The Quest remains the closest thing to The Elder Scrolls on iOS (albeit closer to Daggerfall or Arena than to Morrowind or Oblivion). I challenge anyone to come up with a reason that Aralon is the superior role-playing game without resorting to using words like "graphics".

I don't know for me personally I like the battles in Aralon better, mainly because they're real time and this is turn-based. I like real-time battles better, just because I like more action rather than strategy and planning. But really that's just my opinion.

That's a fair answer. I like both turn-based and real time (and the ability to choose between both to some degree, like Fallout's VATS, is my ideal), but that is a valid concern and I respect that. :)

Comparing Quest to Aralon is like an apples and oranges thing. They are both very enjoyable. However, the level of developer commitment from the Quest team is high, I mean very very well done. I bought the Quest when it first hit the app store and it has had so many updates I can't count them all. If, Aralon has the same developer commitment then I will have two rpgs that are equal in my mind. Oh, and just for the record I went and looked through my purchases and the Quest cost me 5.99 so Aralon's 6.99 was a fair price as well. (Just for those wondering ......)

Of course, if you're like me, you've probably spent way more than that on expansions. :D

Ok so as I've been playing through The Quest I have not gotten very far at all, I finally made it to Vastares on day 9, and found the guy who wants me to find the dead governers chest with all the gold and the will in side, I spoke to the lady across the street and to the Nogur stonemason at night and then spoke to the jeweler, but now I am completely baffled at what to do next, any help???

I'm really enjoying the quest so far because it really makes you think. I had never noticed, but most of the past rpg's I've played have really held my hand telling me right where to go to find out what to do next, I mean they all had some parts where I was really confused but for the most part you didn't have to think a ton about what to do, the quest on the other hand pretty much just shoves you out the door and then locks it behind you, making you figure out things for yourself, which is really fun and challenging but can be very confusing at times.

I didn't want to link to my website directly because I didn't think it was good manners to do that from someone else's website but you can get a lot of help there including from me at www.catacomber.com.

    : )

If I get kicked out of Touch Arcade, see ya. : )

Btw you may need high persuade for that jeweler to get her to confess : ) Greater than 26. : )

I'll try to come back here to help you. Tell me if you got her to speak to you or not. : )

I'm as happy to give help here as anywhere else--just tell me what you need--but I can't attach maps or screenshots here---as far as I know -- but I'll try to help in any way I can.

I read there are more expansions coming 2011 for lower level characters (some information in the Cursed Chess Set thread), any further word on these?
