Thanks for letting me know, I will probably pick up Dungeon & Hero then especially since the price has been reduced as everyone seems to enjoy it as well.

One question with The Quest, is it just me or do the enemies not respawn after you have cleared out an area. I'm to weak to continue but I can't find any more monsters in my current area. I would like to farm and improve my character a bit before I continue (currently level 3) is this possible?

Well, Puzzle Quest has a Lite version. If you like it, you'd like the whole game (and there is a lot of it). Additionally, it is easy to play for a few minutes here and there.

As to the Quest, it has a PC demo on the Redshift webpage. I didn't yet play it myself, since I am a "one game at a time" gamer, but I'll probably pick it up once I finish PQ. Looks like more like "my" kind of RPG than anything else in Appstore, though. My only concern is with the controls - I wonder how well they were implemented on the "i".

Arvale has a Lite version too, which I am trying out, but I am not convinced by it so far.

Flip: this is a full scale RPG. : ) But you can play it in an easier way too - killing all monsters, getting all items, selling everything you have, buying new stuff, solving some quests etc. The usual way. You don't have to always watch out for all your skills and attributes or solve all possible quests, but of course you can build a better character for yourself if you play it seriously.

superbad: tap on your character's face, then on the green floppy disc icon. You'll find yourself in the game's Main Menu where you can read the ingame Help.
(But of course to know everything about all the game's details, you should read the Manual.)

Shroud: yes, enemies respawn after a week. (Except the special ones which are important for some quests.)

Isilel: we just sent version 1.1 to Apple, it should appear within a week in the Appstore. It has the virtual D-pad control option too. : )

I love The Quest! Quick question, where is that little boy Onin (or whatever) near the abandoned swamp? I've traveled every area inside and around there, but I don't see him.

Is there any full walkthroughs for this game? Or any support/official sites? Thanks!

PS: I love this site! Been checking it everyday for about a month! It has influenced me to buy many great games.

    Welcome!

Welcome to the forum! Glad you decided to de-lurk...

I googled for a walkthrough and didn't find one. But there is an official website, Click Here

I did find another forum where there seems to be some experts in the game who can give you some help. You will need to go to the last entries/pages before you get to the iPhone version. Help forum: Click Here

Awesome! You guys got that out fast.. Any other goodies packed in it besides the virtual D-pad?

And I posted this earlier in this thread.. but I guess people aren't bothering to look back at previous posts.

    Can't enchant anymore?

I've been hopping all over the map and went back to Vastares from Mithria to try and get some more money/potions, etc. and finish some of the remaining quests there (just the Monastery and Nadia's father) All of a sudden, when I go to the magic shop in Vastares, I am told "you don't have any items to enchant," and I do. I have all the wands that I used to recharge, my enchanted cloak, my enchantable weapons, etc., and I can't enchant them. I'm trying to figure out if I've been cursed or something, or if it's a bug. I was in the process of making my way to the Monastery and ran into the Shamans, and I thought they might be the issue. I could go back to a saved file that would bring me back about a week (in game world time) but I'm hoping there's a simple explanation/fix that I'm overlooking.

Awesome game, though...I'm spending way too much time between it and Puzzle Quest (which I go to for a more soothing break when The Quest gets me stuck).

    Bug or Feature?

I think I've finished the Amazon "Cave" (it's really a hole in the ground) task by "clearing out" all the Amazons, including the Queen. But, Thurm doesn't think I'm finished. Is there another Cave?

When I go back to the Amazon "Cave", my movement slows down, as if there's an enemy. Also, I can't camp inside the cave because "there may be monsters" around. But, can't find one living soul in that area--bug 1? Just once, a while ago, before I was strong enough to finish off the Amazon guards, I accidentally bumped the green poison fountain and, somehow, found myself in the dark, sort of around the edges of the cave maze--could never duplicate that again. Is that the answer or is that bug 2?

    Thanks for any help.

Ive had a experience like that where i went through the wall and had to restart from save to continue , but as for the cave monsters have you released the father other than that i dont know what you could do i do know if you leave a area and return around a week later the monsters return Amazon queen doesnt but most others do even in the robbers cave the Cyclops returns (its good training to fight him every few days to a week)

    Ecko7123,

Thanks for the fast reply. I did release the father (Nadia's quest), but didn't see any animals/monsters around....

    hi everyone,

just wanted to say that this is a really great game! i like it very much - its like a pocket version of oblivion. Of course it has not the graphic, physical detailism but it has a highly addictive gameplay.

One question: Somebody postet a link to a website where you can find a walkthrough.. but there is no such thing. Just a list of the quests.. and a map ... but no walkthrough.

    regards from germany,
    mcwkey

Hi mcwkey and welcome to the forums! I did a google search and also had no luck finding a walkthrough. On one hand that is good because I'm forced to play through and solve problems and work it out for myself, but on the other hand it is not so good if I get stuck and need some help fast!

Thanks! Same with me.. would like to solve all the quests myself.. but there are situations in which you just dont know what to do. And if something like this happens to me it could be that i loose interest in the game and dont play it anymore..
thats why im searching for a walkthrough..
