Nothing complete as far as I know. As far as levels are concerned, I have to correct myself. The majority of feedback we've gotten on levels is that most people want to continue to play with their high level character as they are loath to lose all the items they've accumulated after months of gameplay. I don't blame them. Cursed Chess Set is good in its own way and a wonderful place to get experience and pick up some great items to sell. : ) But we want to make our regulars happy and so are going back up. : ) Asteroids II is almost ready for testing and will pick up in level somewhere between where Asteroids I and HOLIV left off.
I need some help. Just bought the Gold version of this game and and am playing as an Undead character. How do I heal myself? I was using the rest function but now it says I need food and water to keep doing that. Please help lol. I like the game so far but am so so confused and overwhelmed.
Don't get overwhelmed-take it slow-there's a manual you can download at Redshift's website and forums that will help you. A Rasvim is one of the best races you can be. Rasvim definitely have more fun. To heal yourself you need Restore Unholy Potions-you can buy them at a potions shop or sometimes find them. Full Restore Unholy are the best. For dinner and drink, you get to eat Contaminated Food. What could be better? Go to an inn and buy yourself a full plate of rotten meat and wash it down with Contaminated Water. You'll feel like your old undead self in no time. : ) For a snack, you can have a rotten apple. If you eat not contaminated food it will make you sick. : ) Good luck and enjoy your meals. : )
It's both. You can buy either the standalone version of the game or the regular version that you can plug into the Quest. Asteroids II will be also. : )
I know this is a really dumb question, but how do ou eat contaminated food? I have tons of it I just can't grasp how to use it. And where do you get water from?
I can't solve the murder quest in the second city, where you have to talk to the stonemason and the jewelcrafter. I talked to onenof the stone guys, he told ne it was her, and disappeared. The jewelcrafter says nothing. What do I do?
Once you have food /and/ water all you have to do is tap the rest button. And you can either purchase water at an inn, or you can find it. Look in every barrel you come across. Also sometimes certain monsters will drop it. What is your persuade skill at?
Thanks to all for the generous help. One last question. Can you kinda tell me where to go for the first main quest, but not tell me out right. Maybe just give me the direction on the compass (such as NW) and Ill guess from there.
You use it up if you want to rest--that rejuvenates you. : ) That's the only way to eat it. For healing you need to use the spells that heals Rasvim health: Unholy Pray heals you 100% and Unholy Word heals you a little bit. Or you can drink the Restore Unholy potions. : ) You buy contaminated water at an inn. Sorry, I see myrobotwillneverdie beat me to the answer button. : ) It's not a dumb question. Learning the mechanics of a role playing game is very important. But before you know it, you'll be able to help the new newbies. : )
There's no first main quest. If you're just starting out you want to level up--talk to the mayor in Matras, then the innkeeper in Matras, then visit the cemetery there. Wander around talking to people until you bump into Thurm-get his and his wife's quest and you're on your way.
Try to get your persuade over 25. You can do this by enchanting items with persuade or wearing items that have plus persuade points or training persuade. Then talk to the pretty lady and she should confess.
Here is a tip that will help you survive in the game... READ EVERYTHING! Talk to people, and pay close attention to what they are saying. If you do this, you'll find yourself loaded with quests
i havent played this in a while but when i get my new ipod 4g in the mail next week im going to pick it back up. i remember thinking my character may have been poorly leveled. is that possible (its VERY possible in Oblivion). I remember his (rasvim) magic being strong but his melee and defense being so bad that i couldnt survive without dropping burning hand or the melee magic on people. so to make this post not into something stupid based off my remembering a game i havent played in a while, here is my question: Is it possible to skew the game to a very difficult or unplayable point by poorly leveling your character?
Not really. You can always enchant your gear or use enchanted gear to get you up to the right levels to solve quests and to resist monsters and to be more aggressive toward monsters. I don't think there's any failure mode in the Quest. : ) Unless you die. : ) Of course there are a lot of ways to die in the Quest. : )
^not bad at all. i think this game is better than oblivion. i really like the writing in this game, which doesn't happen often at all. i've told a lot of people to get this game. most of them listened.
The writing is great! Really funny and entertaining. Although...I just realized that Skar is a dude...eewwwww.
