well theoretically if you are evil the answer will be obvious....... but, if you are a true hero, you will have to tarnish your fame a little.
This base game is woefully underpriced now, $3 would be just sad. Anyway, I can't wait for Asteroids.
I've just been getting into this game again, I've played for at least 10 hours and I'm only level 12, amazing game. Is there any way to permanently increase my attributes? I've gone to jail quite a bit and I'm a little underpowered. I know that shopkeepers and such can train my skills, but what about attributes?
Hey Noman I think you can find potions that increase the base attributes. There's ones that "fortify" the attribute temporarily in battle, but there are also ones that "permanently" fortify that attribute. I'm not fully sure if you can buy the permanent ones though, you just have to be lucky to stumble upon them at some point. Actually I just found a spell-book ("Lore of the Philosopher's Stone") that gives me the recipes to make these potions with alchemy! I've got a question: Is there no other way to get into Mithria Prison apart from committing a crime? I want to complete the Rubor quest, and without getting stuck in there. Thanks.
I just started playing the Quest (from the first one) and I can't get to that city to join the theifs guild. I always get caught by Amazon women and I can't even get close to killing them once they all attack me at the same time. I'm a Ranger. please help
Try looking around matras for some smaller quests you can do first to get some xp and money for good equipment. Don't rush it, the first few levels are the hardest.
You could train with other monsters/enemies such as the Robbers in Robber Forest. They can't attack you with ranged weapons. Have a melee weapon with you anyway, just in case you need it.
I have been stuck now for months trying to find the tree with the chest in it while being constantly killed by the shamans. If anybody can help it would be greatly appreciated.
enchant some gear with resist magic, the closer you get your magic resistance to 100%, the less damage youll take from those grumpy old shamens. also, buy or make yourself some resist magic potions. the tree is along the river in that area. follow it and you will find it.
Thanks for the info. Only problem is that I'm running out of money. Any ideas on how I can make some money? How do i enchant with resist magic?
running out of money? you can become a thief and break into houses...but then you must pay to get your crimes absolved... anyway, in either of my two playthroughs money was NEVER a problem, in fact if it had weight it would have been a big problem...where are you, what class are you????
I'm a Seiry battlemage or something like that. I made some money from a cave I must have missed before. I'm stuck in the second town. My character has a -16% magic resistance. Also do enemies respawn at all? I need to get into the theives guild.
