backup saves on iphone? I have a nagging fear after becoming obsessed with this game and its expansions... that I'll lose saves if anything goes wrong with the phone and I have to do a restore. Any chance of a function to back up the savegame? Like emailing it from the game, uploading it somewhere... just something to ensure that we don't lose the many hours of gaming we've invested in our characters if something goes wacky with the phone OS? I'd love you for it, really...
That would be Elendil's area but I think people generally are trying to do this somehow in any way they can. It's very important imho. There must be a way.
Just backup your device with iTunes. It saves the data of all installed apps, including The Quest. To backup, command click (right click on windows) on your device in iTunes and select "Back Up".
That didn't work for me. I lost all my saves when the game became corrupted. At that stage I'd finished HOL1. I'm now working my way back through the original Quest.
HOL I Problems Hey Guys, LOL, I am COMPLETELY STUMPED with a few things. (1) I am in Agrimon's Dungeon. I think I have the 13 switches figured out (i.e. Fibanocci Code). However, I cannot open the door. I THINK I have tapped on every wall in the dungeon...but if there is another key out there, I just cannot figure it out. (2) I killed Kozlodoy before getting the quest to kill him. Now, when I go to Solovey, he does not acknowledge that I have the arrows or the skull. What next? He just wants me to leave...and that is odd. My persuade is very high with all of the gadgets I have purchased/enchanged. (3) Just who is Zoya and where can I find him/her? I feel like I have wandered every acre of the grounds...I just don't know where this person is. (4) Is there anyone who can enchant over 750? If so, where? Currently, I can enchant at 300. I have found NPCs that can do up to 750. LOL, I want more!!! I have these fancy items that seem a WASTE to enchant at a lower value than they actually have. Thanks! James
Well...we can chalk #1 off the list. I got the armor taken care of...so the du geon quest is done with. Now just the rest...
The game engine doesn't allow NPC's to enchant anything over 750, so you have to do it yourself. It's really easy to enchant stuff tho. - Get a set of crap armor that has good enchant storage and fill it all with +Environment Magic and some +Fortify Magic % - Drink a Small, Large, Ultimate, and Homemade potion of Fortify Magic. They stack. - Enchanting should now be somewhere around 3000
Thanks, Taylor. That was very helpful. I am now enchanting at over 3,000...which at this point makes me fully modded up. Now...just those two items. I have no idea how to get the thieves to come around as I don't know where Zoya is AND, I can not persuade Solovey to join the ranks (or even to speak to me). I have healed Nifont, I have killed the thief with a K (and have his arrows and skull)....however, I cannot give them to him for some reason (the quest is in place...but after, unfortunately, I killed him). Thanks James PS Once I have these items taken care of, I can go back to the Tzar and I GUESS work on the 'final project' whatever that is.
If you got to Solovey, you found Zoya. : ) You need to get the quest to find the mushroom from Prince Borovik in Home of Borovik before Solovey will talk to you about a mushroom.
Where on earth is the mirror that the cyclops king in pech caves wants? I've searched by every single stinkin flower in dookh village, but no luck. Could someone please give me an aproximative location???
Try a flower in the midnorth of Dookh Village West. Am sorry I didn't answer you sooner but trying to get HOLV in. You probably found it already.
Restoring from backup worked flawlessly for me. Thus I could transfer my save games from an iPod Touch to an iPhone (restoring iPhone from iTouch backup).
HOLIII should be up soon. : ) Tigers and crocodiles, living trees, fairies and Ents and little annoying man-eating plants. : ) And magic squares and a casino. : ) What is forgotten? : )
Coming soon--HOLIII for Quest iphone/ipodtouch : ) Tzar Yaromir has given you a rich province for your own but its current three governors (Strong Arm the Dwarf, the Fairy Godmother and Vaterguy a/k/a Mole) have vowed not to give up without a fight. They plot to gain independence from the Tzar and they, along with Kozney the Deathless, have put a price on your head. Meanwhile, Kozney wants the throne of Lukomorye with a beautiful queen by his side (who is missing?). You will face your hardest battles, poisonous creatures, numerous assassins, cunning pirates and the Deathless himself. Whip yourself into shape and get ready to brave these Stormy Seas.
im confused is it not cheaper to buy the gold edition for 10.00 and get them all.. or am i missing something. i have the gold edition to my whist list. chris.
The Gold edition contains "The Quest", "Islands of Ice and Fire", "Hero of Lukomorye I" and "Hero of Lukomorye II". It's cheaper than if you've bought them separately. "Mithril Horde" and the coming "Hero of Lukomorye III" must be bought separately. But they worth the price.
In HOLIII, sold separately-- : ) Where else can you get the Little Noble Prize for banishing the Spirit of War? : ) And all the gold and glory such a prize brings. You can surpass Bill Clinton! The betatesters busted their behemoths to make sure you got a good game, a not buggy game and a fun game and a balanced game in HOLIII. : )
In HOl 1 i cant find the mighty cudgel or the lost hornbeam button. I understand there suppsoed to be in the wolfs den but ive been throught the whole thing and didnt find them.
