If you got into the Other Dimension, did you find Pahom, Gleb's brother? You talked to the priest Father Lev in the House of Agrifena in the fortress? You need persuade greater than 60 to get him to be helpful. Then go back to Gleb and then go to the Other Dimension to find his brother. You need persuade greater than 70 to get Pahom to talk to you. Broono tells you to come back later so you can finish what you have to do there. You can also kill the Duke of Poltergeists there and get a permanent dexterity potion. If you are still stuck, come back. I'll be waiting. : ) But I think that should get you through.

He wants a Cyclops Lily that you can get in Pech Caves by doing a quest for the Cyclops King and a Dark Mushroom which you can get in Rubezyhe Forest.
You have one of the items already in your backpack, Sosume? He will only talk to if you have both items or none of the items.

If you mean the Cyclops King, you can only kill him with the Cyclops Blade. If it doesn’t work take it back and complain to the Miller--he'll tell you to see an Enchantress in a nearby forest.
Don't think it's the king. I'm working on the three skulls for the shaman quest and my last one is in the pit of blood which I'm assuming this cyclops is guarding. He hits like a truck though and me not so much. Am I just to low a lvl atm?
So you can reach an expansion by talking to someone who will take you there, but... Does each app take up a icon on the iPhone? I don't like the idea of having so much clutter in there... When does the sale end? I've been putting off all expansion because I haven't finished the main quest yet! I wonder what the total playtime of all the expansions together will be... 100+ hours?
Ah, that Cyclops. He's level 14, 30% resistant to magic, 50% resistant to paralysis, 50% resistant to diseases with fortify melee 20%. You can: Fortify your melee by drinking potions and putting on enchanted gear. Equip stone skin. Try long-ranged arrows if you can. Save and hope the 50% paralysis resistance works to your advantage and try paralyzing him, if not try again. Or level up--he drops the Skull of Blood.
When sale ends is up to Handango and Elendil. Total playtime of all the expansions together should be well over 100 hours. If you are 23 now, you may still be playing when you're 33. : )
After you have enabled the expansions you can delete the expansion apps, so there will be no clutter.
what happened is, I took broono's kill the savir soldiers quest, killed every one inside other than paholm, then talked to paholm. All he said was something like "now I serve an evil lord" or something like that, and when asked about his brother, he said he didn't have one, that I must be mistaken. After that, I walked out, and the Other Dimensional pentagram disappeared. I talked to broono about spirits, and all he said was that he was too drained and to come back later. I talked to Father Lev after that, no new speech options. I talked to gleb - also no new speech options (this was all with a persuade of more than 70). What am I supposed to do now?
hmmm. same thing with me. i think we didnt have enough skill of some sort to complete the quest. and it mustve failed. when catacomber returns, maybe she can shed some light on the situation.
You need high mind magic in order to get Broono to take you back to the other dimension - I'm not at my home computer so can't help except off the top of my head until tomorrow night. But am certain about the mind magic because Broono is at my forum and loves answering this question. : ) So I just have to check that thread. For Pahom you need persuade 71, so enchant some gear. : )

I finished HoL 1 (for some reason, it took me a lot less time than the two previous ones) and I have but a few questions... 1) What are the Horaleks (little coin thingies) for? 2) Is there any place to get rid of all the furs I've accumulated from killing wolves? 3) Are there any places to buy more advanced weapons or armor (are my own, personally enchanted, one-hit KO weapons too much to ask for?), as the weapons and armors in the shops in this expansion seem to sell practically the same level of items as the ones in the previous games (with the exception of a few items)?
