Not true. The expansion Mithril Horde was just posted on the app store, and it is free for a limited time only.
I'm baffled. If I have The Quest Gold, do I still have to download Mithril Horde or it's included in the newest update?
For those that have the gold edition, is this one app with the expansions in it? Or when you enable an expansion does it take another spot on the dashboard. Just wondering cause I might get it, but only have three spots left on my 11 page total I can have.
after you load the expansion and choose to install it to the gold/other, it says you can then delete the expansion from your device.
Any expansion can be deleted after you've enabled them in The Quest/The Quest Gold. They don't take up space on the dashboard. (The Quest Gold contains the first three expansions already enabled. Apart from the price and the background graphics, there is no difference between The Quest + first three expansions enabled and The Quest Gold.)
you know, i use appshopper but not as i should be. i did not know you could put in a wish list etc. that will save me money. im gonna go sign up now.. instead of just surfing the appshopper from time to time.. im spending 50.00 a month on apps.. which is probably silly. maybe appshopers wish list can put a stop to that. chris. sigh, i guess i should of did this when i first got my ipod. gonna take some time to put all the apps i have in the my app section. be cool if i could just sync with itl heh.
If I already have The Quest can I import my character into The Quest gold? And if so how do I go about it?
You can't (unless you jailbreak, but that's obviously not recommended). The Quest Gold was designed for people who hasn't bought any of the Quest games. If you have The Quest already, you can just buy the first three expansions (and download for free the fourth ). Buying the expansions is cheaper than buying The Quest Gold, so I don't really understand why would you want to do that, anyway. (Not that I want to discourage you, if you insist. )
HOLIII Expansion coming soon. The testers are just about through and if there is one bug, it will be a surprise. : )
Coming soon--HOLIII for Quest iphone/ipodtouch : ) Tzar Yaromir has given you a rich province for your own but its current three governors (Strong Arm the Dwarf, the Fairy Godmother and Vaterguy a/k/a Mole) have vowed not to give up without a fight. They plot to gain independence from the Tzar and they, along with Kozney the Deathless, have put a price on your head. Meanwhile, Kozney wants the throne of Lukomorye with a beautiful queen by his side (who is missing?). You will face your hardest battles, poisonous creatures, numerous assassins, cunning pirates and the Deathless himself. Whip yourself into shape and get ready to brave these Stormy Seas.
Uploaded to Apple. : ) You can win the Little Noble Prize for convincing the Spirit of War to disappear which gives you more status than Bill Clinton. : )

After enabling the expansion, you can continue to play The Quest Classic with your existing character(s) to explore new areas and quests. However, if you don't have The Quest Classic, you can also play the expansion as a standalone game. You received the rich province of Cologreve as the Tzar's reward for your completing your last mission, but before you can govern, you need to investigate the wrongdoings of three criminal bosses, kill assassins looking for your head, find missing Agent Kolobok and the whereabouts of your mortal enemy, Kozney the Deathless. At the end, you will have to choose one of three belts that will determine how you begin the next Hero of Lukomorye expansion. If you thought fighting moles was too hard, now while solving 52 quests, you'll face fierce mandrakes, evil ents, hungry tigers and crocodiles, even harder than moles to kill. But brute force by itself will not get you very far - you'll have to pick strange plants in the Dangerous Garden and learn a new ability (Healing) to cure several patients from hydrophobia, toothache, allergy and other diseases. To access the new areas (not applicable if you are playing the expansion standalone), go to Mithria harbor and talk to captain Hanty, then select "Stormy Seas" as your travel destination. It is recommended to reach at least level 38 before trying to take on the challenges of this new expansion. Please note that after you have traveled to your destination, you'll have no way back for a while (except if you have Marked a spot), so it is also recommended that you keep a save in Mithria.
