I wouldn't object to them making full offline progress to earn money. I honestly don't get why that part is even limited. I don't think the game should be that easy. If offline is made more generous than it is right now, this would be more on the lines of checking progress in AdVenture Capitalist. As it is right now it feels like I'm climbing that 1440-2880 wall on the Moon in AdCap.
The game does seem to have gotten more generous in offline mode. I can set down my phone, check back in a half hour, and I have made SOME money. I guess an hour here or there wouldn't hurt, to drive up the free gem/gold timers.
I haven't played in a few days and I've barely dipped in rankings. I'm not the only one who quit. Dev is MIA waaaaaay too soon after game release. Sad.
There was so much potential for this game. Hopefully another developer that has some drive and picks up on this model and takes off. This game was a diamond in the rough that was never dug out and polished. Not sure why someone would spend the amount of time and effort making a game that they don't care about.
That's what confuses me. Maybe dev went into overload at the pace once it took off. Couldn't handle managing things like Twitter and critiques.
If you followed his facebook or twitter you would know that he was sick from a bad cold in korea and he has a screenshot of what he has been up too.
I follow his Twitter. He has a cold. He can tweet once a day. And he stopped checking in here loooooong before he stopped tweeting.
The Korean version of the game is waaaaaaay easier. The next few updates should make things easier for us English players. For example with lvl25 mask turtle shell quest costs me 9.5 G but for Korean version with lvl 0 mask it costs 230F. Huge difference. Korean version is also ahead with content by like 3-5 months. The next update we are getting in 2-3weeks has been around for 3-5 months in Korean version. Honestly considering switching to it considering the 2 new pets are op and getting back to where I am in English version should like 10% of the time. Proof dev is listening to complaints
Just because u tweet once in awhile doesn't mean u are being active with your game. And if he is working on something why wouldn't he address what he's working on instead of losing players that are the hardcore fan base who would be here forever supporting this game.
That's where the game should be. Why the hell would he port such a simple game over to the west from Korea in a MORE grindy fashion than what Korea could tolerate? If Koreans thought it was too grindy it's too grindy. Unless he wanted to slow roll out the content to make more money but was too lazy to adjust the numbers down. Ugh. I'll leave it installed and wait on updates though, thanks for the heads up! Does he ever fix it so you don't have to leave it open all the time?
If you tweet him like me and three others have about leaving the game open maybe it will add the the importance of it. The more people that contact him on the issue should help.

Not cool. We've got plenty of logical complaints, like "we're tired of frying our phones and leaving them running just to advance stupidly slowly" And he's MIA to his Western audience pretty quickly after release. So no, not cool. He hasn't addressed the issues, at all, or even acknowledged they exist.
A major mechanic in this game, and others like it; is the fact you need to reset/reincarnate and replay the same levels over and over to progress. Adventure capitalist did it with angels, Tap Tap Infinity did it with infinity tokens, BillyBob does it with keys. The game will continue if you close it, for up to 5 times per quest. I'm currently on Collect Dragon Blood, and even with the cape of agility maxed, it takes 1 1/2 hours to complete it once. Oh No, i have to open the game every 7 1/2 hours, the horror. He's not MIA; he's just not on THIS forum. There's a forum on reddit, He's on facebook and twitter answering questions almost daily (he was sick for awhile, give the guy a break). Yes, Korea might get the updates a bit sooner. Can you blame him? His native language is Korean after all... It's well known they have a development team of 3 people, and they're keeping us updated as to when their next major update is, and what it will include. If you dont like the game in it's current state, fine; who cares? It's in the top 10, so clearly he's doing something right.
I just checked the top 150 of a bunch of game categories. He's not in any of them. Maybe top 10 in Korea or something but certainly not here. Not with the version ported here. I haven't played in 4-5 days and I haven't dropped in rank at all. Like 18th in highest and 15th in total floors. Some of the people over me are clear hackers as well (guy with like 900mil floors), so it's not like people are pushing passed where I got to. People above me are about 50/50 on whether they advanced or quit. Point is, lots quit. He's not active here, he's not active on Twitter, he's not active on Reddit. I've been checking them all this week and not a peep. He's supposedly over his cold and ignoring the complaints. So, about your solution: I'm glad you cherry picked the best quest in the game for your example. How about any of the others after it? Good luck advancing with the 1-10 min timers. at best, that requires opening once an hour. At BEST. I have two choices to advance: play like I've been with my phone running the game 24/7 until I redouble my gold/dmg treasures a few more times (190dmg/150gold atm) so I can get value out of the later quests, or play with the game shit down and advance with the state the game is in now. If I pick the latter it takes weeks for a meaningful reincarnate (of which I'm on my 38th so I get how clicker/idle games work, thanks) My point is this: the game has issues, top players agree and have mostly quit or are busy destroying their phones to compete, and we might come back if we heard there were some fixes in the update but there's not a peep from the dev so we're in the dark. A simple heads up would appease many, and every day that goes by sees more people quit without looking back, since dev has gone silent so soon after release. Just doesn't fly in the iOS market man.

Pretty sure this was established (in the game text, even) that 1000 is the highest floor. But of course no one ever cheats at online games. Oh right. That 9 quintillion is totally real, even if the upper limit is 100. There's plenty of cheat utilities on Android. Not to mention that platform is known to have plenty of app theft, it should be expected that there are cheats there like on iOS leaderboards. I'm not saying 3028 is fake, but operating on a misguided assumption that no one cheats isn't exactly helping your cause.
