I have high hopes but knowing Sony and how they deal with their handheld stuff, they'll royally f ark it up.

I think that it might could have worked had they designed a phone with gaming capabilities, instead of the tried-and-failed design of a gaming handheld with phone capabilities...
I can't even take this question seriously. Even more so after the rumor that there was speculation Apple was interested in buying out Sony - not that it is true or that it would even happen, but if analysts are trying to predict such a far fetched idea should tell you something about Apple's position in the market right now. What is true is that Nintendo's president made a statement recently saying Apple is more of a threat to them now than Sony or Microsoft - and this was stated after the intial prototype of the Playstation Phone had already been out. So if anything the only competition I see will be from the 3DS.
Yeah, I'll agree with that. I'm not a fanboy either, but I just have a hard time seeing anything beat out such a successful platform, especially with better and more powerful iterations coming out pretty much every year.
Games & phones don't go. The ability to have games on your phone is one thing, but no one wants to buy a gaming device with a phone attached.
Agreed. I love having my touch and stuff and some of the games are fantastic, but it still doesn't replace my PSP or DS.
yeah no shortage of leaks. to bad sony did not build it them selfs. i feel sony of ericson is so cheap these days. but back in the day they did build a good phone. anyhow, ihope this takes off. peace chris.
