For graphics you probably want to try first party titles, they typically have the edge (unless they're Haze on the PS3). Saints Row has always been a bit fugly on most platforms.
Try Assasin's Creed Black Flag, Dragon's Age: Inquisition, Infamous, Last of US, or other first party titles to get a better feel for the graphics. I don't have either of those games, but the ones I mentioned are pretty gorgeous. I like the controller better than the PS3 as well, although battery life is much worse. Don't forget that you can dim the light on the controller to help save some battery life - it is in the adjust devices screen. You can also adjust the volume on the controller there as well.
Get The Order 1886 (when it launches), TLOU Remastered and Far Cry 4, all of them are quite good looking games, but yes, the one letter search is quite a dumb idea TBH.
Thanks guys. I missed TLOU on PS3 so I'll probably nab it eventually. Will definitely check out The Order 1886 as well. Anyone grab anything from the Valentine flash sale?
Lara Croft & The Temple of Osiris looks nice enough for 8 bucks (or 11 with the season pass) but definitively Rayman Legends for $10 is the top deal.
does anyone know if the turtle beach p12 headset has surround sound? and also, are they any good? thanks.
Can't say, but the Sony Wifi Gold headsets frequently go on sale for about $60 and are pretty good for the money - you just have to be a little gentle with them - they are not built for ripping them on and off and tossing around. Sorry this doesn't answer your original question - I bought some Turtle Beach something or others (retail $99 - on sale for $60) and they broke (as in quit working) after about 2 months of use. Never buying Turtle Beach again.
I actually ended up buying to gold headset at full price and I'm impressed. The surround sound rocks!
I've been playing some Warframe lately, I must say that despite the bugs the game is awesome but a little heavy on grinding (expected from a F2P game) and seems awesome in co-op, so far I'm level 8 and I've got some sweet dual pistols, if anyone plays Warframe please add me on PSN (TheOutlanderGamr) so we can play, who knows maybe we can create a TA clan or something
I played it on steam and enjoyed it, so ill get it for my ps4, and i'll add you in a bit my ID is Sellsword99
I'm thinking about importing Puyo Puyo Tetris: http://www.giantbomb.com/videos/quick-look-puyo-puyo-tetris/2300-9838/ It looks pretty crazy and fun. Apparently it will never see the light of day here because of some licensing issue. Something to do with it being published by Sega, I think. The game is region free. It's also available for Vita, incidentally, and everything else too.
Dammit, Sony is teasing me! The PS2 beta didnt even started in europe yet they are sending me emails about joining an ingame event which just had started. Screw you Sony! D':
The Order: 1886 reviews are all over the show, from 20% to "this is the game you buy a Playstation 4 for". My take at Chapter 2: Best looking game I've played on any platform ever QTE's are very Telltale and basic Cinematics and gameplay are seamless Introductory but Cinematic's tend to be a bit longer than gameplay Story and characters so far are pretty average Gunplay is satisfying Over all it's the game I expected with the exception of the graphics exceeding expectations, not going to be for everyone but I am thoroughly enjoying it.
I'm also through the 2nd Chapter and well, I agree with all your impressions with the exception on the characters and story, believe me or not but seems a little bit Bond-esque to me and also, GOD, THE GRAPHICS ARE ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL and I'm quite liking it thus far (with the exception of the Lycans, those sons of ******* are more annoying to fight rather than providing a fair challenge). BTW: I'm playing on hard right now and I'd recommend it, makes the whole game more tense and less Gears-like
Ha cheers, might give that a go. Would be a game I'd imagine would benifiet from the increased difficulty tension due to atmosphere.
