So much fun! I've only played for about two hours, but it's everything I hoped it would be: you get to blast bugs and destroy buildings. The graphics are a bit iffy, and as far as I've seen there's not much of a story, but if you just want to run around destroying stuff, it's pretty awesome.
It's awesome. I'm actually trying not to play too much because I really only bought it for the local co-op, and my friend won't be over until Wednesday... but I've put a few hours in and yeah, it's great fun. The campaign isn't very long, but there's tons and tons of grinding to be done, which is all I need really. I basically just use these games as an excuse to have a conversation with my friend while we drink and eat pizza. It's an alternative to watching movies. Those "iffy" graphics are a massive improvement over 2017 so for someone who put in a load of hours on that game, this might almost seems comparable to Crysis 2 on DX11
Sweet! That's what a wanted to hear. I think the only way people would be let down is if they were expecting a AAA title. I'm expecting a budget title.
Fallout 3, no question. New Vegas is basically just more of the same, only made by a less skilled team of developers using assets the superior team gave them. The real bottom line is they're pretty similar, but Fallout 3 is like the "main" game, so if you love that and want more you won't really mind getting NV at a later date.
Fallout 3. But from my experience I don't recommend buying the GoTY edition (on PS3) because it's broken with severe and frequent freezes. When I had that game I would have to restart my PS3 every 30 minutes or so because of the freezes. The standard edition works fine though.
I have a question. I was downloading the Borderlands full game 60 min trial off the store but I canceled it because I didn't want to wait for it. After a few days i went back to the store and saw that the trial was gone, so I checked my downloads and it said i had Borderlands. It didn't say trial either, it said it was the full game. I just want to know if it is actually the full game, or still a trial before I download it.
Anything you attempt to download on PSN shows up there, even if you don't finish the download. I have no idea why it wouldn't say it was the trial. But I'm still guessing that it's still the trial.
It will still be the trial. You'll probably download a good chunk of the game and then have a sixty-minute timer on it.
Have you seen.... Sony want you to sign away your right to collectively sue them over losing personal data. Next time you're asked to view T&Cs, it will be in there. If you do not accept, you will be denied online game access!! A bit much, I think
Well, let's put you in Sony's shoes. They got hacked, stuff like that happens. They didn't give enough info to the consumer (including that their info had been stolen). It took like a month for them to make PSN secure again. They gave out free games. In the end they lost a lot of $$$. Wouldn't you do the same?

I think my top 3 for this holiday would be Skyrim, Battlefield 3, and Uncharted 3. For 2012 it would be Borderlands 2, Bioshock: Infinite, and Mass Effect 3.
Is anyone getting the new R&C? I am so bummed - 4 person coop??? What were they thinking?? Didn't they see how badly Deadlocked bombed? They are starting to push the adverts, and it is making me wince every time I see them. It could have been something special.
I'm not sure what you mean, that game looks great! You can play single player with an AI co-op character if you'd like too. I don't understand how this compares to Deadlocked either, it seems to be the opposite type of R&C game. I'll plan on getting it! Grrr, I loved R&C: A Crack in Time soooooo much. Seems as though Resistance 3 was a good game. So I'll cross my fingers for Overstrike and more Insomniac fun!
All the earlier R&C's I'd bought without hesitation. Now I'm scrutinizing each one and even passed on the last two. Hope their not fizzling out because they'd been a great series of game.
Aww, you passed on the PS3 ones?! Those were my first ones and still my favorite PS3 games! Although I've played some of a couple PS2 ones.
Is anyone buying Dark Souls this week? I really enjoyed playing Demon Souls so much, I plan on getting this tomorrow.
A great game for ps3 is modern combat domination by gameloft. Its an online only fps and its only 7.99! We need more players playing this game so get it!
