This is from the playstation blog: Heres the step to download your free games: Select Welcome Back Free PS3 Game 1′ and click on Get Now Press circle to go back and select your first free game Return to the Welcome Back page and select Welcome Back Free PS3 Game 2′ and click on Get Now Press circle to go back and select your second free game Go to the XMB(tm) to play your free games Make sure to complete the download of each title all the way otherwise youll have to go into account management>transaction management>services list>SCEA Promotions to download the games.
Can't even get into the store on my PSP. I got to the Free Game 1 screen and pressed "Get It" but then it gets error 80431063. When I went back, Free Game 1 wasn't an option, and only Free Game 2 was the only option. Didn't even get to pick the game D: Does it have anything to do with Sony Pictures being hacked? Otherwise I see no reason for the PS Store to be acting like this. I'll go and download them from management>transaction management>services list>SCEA Promotions, then... Have to try it on my PS3 later.
Geez, took about 10 tries to download each of the 2 free PS3 and 2 free PSP games earlier. Right now I can't get into the store to purchase Under Siege (RTS) for 10 bucks. Oh well, I'll try back later.
Ya similar thing happened to me... Was able to start downloading one game then I started getting the same error constantly, the Game 2 option disappeared, and then I got locked out of the PSN store... Oh well, the one I wanted is dl'ing, whatever.
Damn.... 7GB for infamous. I think I'll have to leave my ps3 on overight. I also had a ton of error messages, but after tying again and again I eventually got to the downloading stage.
Finally bought Under Siege for $10 (I'm glad they are having a sale when everyone can get the playstation plus for free this month). I really love RTS games and took only about 20 times to buy the damn thing.
Is it up??? Do I finally get to put Portal 2 on my MAC??? Ugggghhhhh. Glitchy as hell. I'll wait a day or 3.
For those that think that it look like the store ripped them off - I had so many glitches trying to redeem the first one, I turned it off, and tried again tonight and only had the second voucher showing up. Redeemed that successfully, but lost the first - actually did not - go to account management-> Transaction Management-> Services List and you should see the voucher there. When you click on it, you will get the option to chose the game. Whew!
You should have downloaded the 8.5 GB MAG Beta... The thing was a nightmare during the open beta, when thousands were downloading it at once.
Is Outland even out yet? I think its release got pushed back a little longer, because I haven't seen it in the store. I've been waiting for that one and Beyond Good and Evil, and I think both are getting their releases pushed back to post E3... Also, I'm finding the Store to be a little more finicky than usual, but it's nowhere near as bad as I was expecting. I've been able to use it on my PS3, my PSP and Media Go...in fact, this is probably the fastest I've ever had Media Go work for me!
I played some Infamous today, and I'm loving it. I had previously played the demo, thought it was kinda meh, but the actual game itself feels great. I definitely recommend it for anyone who's considering choosing it as one of their free games.
It's out on the EU store. I managed to buy it today along with The Fancy Pants Adventures I thought it was great too initially, but the repetition kicked in hardcore just after the second area... possibly because I was playing Prototype and Spider-Man at the same time, too many sandbox games
