Has anyone who has played MW2 offline splitscreen multiplayer faced a "data is corrupted" issue when loading an existing account? I have this problem, but strange thing is, only MY profile is corrupted, while my friend's isnt. Does anyone know what causes this to happen and how to fix this? Can my "corrupt" profile be used again somehow? Thanks in advance.
Corrupted data can be caused my numerous things-most commonly, turning off the XBox or taking the disc out of the tray when it specifically says on the screen NOT to (when it is saving something, a little sign of the lower left pops up telling you not to disconnect your console). Corrupted data, I'm sorry to say, cannot be used again(atleast in my experiences)
This is exactly why we all moaned at the GT5 devs to enable save copying for backup purposes. When you've invested 50+ hours into a game you deserve the right to protect your progress.
If this was directed at me I would like to let you know I gave up on polls. Turns out when you reach 100 TouchArcade just won't let you do anymore.
So I got ME2 and it's very good, but I never came across the interactive comic thing and I'm like 18 hours in. I probably skipped it by mistake.
Yeah you have to download the 650~MB file before you even start the game, which set me back by a good two hours on my connection. I don't know why they couldn't have included it on the disc... Once you've installed that you get a bunch of free stuff (if you haven't played ME2 before or researched the DLC you probably won't even notice it as it blends in so well) and the comic starts just after the Normandy explodes and before you're resurrected.
Not if they required an unlock key. You'd still need a connection but 100KB isn't a problem for anyone.
Just picked up DC Universe Online. I had never played a game like this before and I am having fun with it. Anyone else have this?
I kinda liked the look of the screenshots, then I went saw the pricing on the PSN store and couldn't justify paying three times the cost of a gold Live membership for a single game.
Picked up AC: Brotherhood today because it was super cheap. Having fun but it feels very much like AC2. Still, the amount I paid practically makes it the equivalent of AC2 DLC anyway.
Test Drive Unlimited 2 was delivered to me today (9 days before the game is officially released ). I've only played a little amount so far, but it's been really good. I have a feeling that this game will fly under the radar with all the other big titles being released this year, which is a shame. But I've been extremely impressed so far. It's definitely the best racing game I've played, possibly even the best PS3 games I've played.
How's the fun factor? I tend to get bored of racing games fast especially sims, Hot Pursuit managed to hold my interest for a while though. Is the driving more on the sim side or arcadey? Oh and any gripes so far? I'm still on the fence about this one.
Well it's not like an arcade game with that sort of fun factor. It feels realistic, but in a casual fun way. There are 3 options for the physics, I set mine to hardcore which isn't quite as realistic as racing sims, but it feels realistic enough. Of course you can change the physics so they are more arcadey, but I don't know what the other 2 options are like. My main gripe so far is the terribly cheesy story and characters with bad voice acting. But that's just the cutscenes, the actual gameplay is fine. There are some other minor issues I have with the game such as lack of windscreen wipers, no seat adjustment, no fuel and no lambos. It may take a while to get into the game and learn everything, but I've been playing for about 3 hours now and I feel pretty familiar with the game.
Ah okay, I'm sure it'd get much more enjoyable once the game releases and more players start playing. But no lambos!? Zomg
There's a chance that they'll add them as DLC. I like Lamborghinis but I don't care too much about there not being any because there are plenty of other manufacturers. Motorcycles will be added later as DLC too.
Is Porsche in? I'm not really a Porsche freak but they weren't in GT5 so I'm in the mood for driving one. And how the hell did you get it so early?! Is the sense of freedom as good as you thought it would be?
