    Mass Effect 2 or LBP2?

I vote for Mass Effect 2. LBP's "career" mode is far shorter, and despite the potentially unlimited replay value, I still find user levels eventually become repetitive. I'll probably buy it eventually just for something to play, but I'm really looking forward to ME2 right now.

Same here dude. Same here. Though it's going to be weird having Battlefield on Consoles and not just PC.

While I too am excited, I don't see how it can improve on BFBC2 at all. Try as I might, I cannot find a single flaw with BFBC2 (other than the recon class being slightly overpowered)...so what does BFBC3 fix?

I think it'll just go the way of Mario Galaxy 2 and keep everything more or less the same, just adding more on top with a pretty new background.

Agreed. It should be similar to this but ya never know.

Keep in mind that it isn't "Battlefield Bad Company 3" it's just Battlefield 3. Slightly different. Like How different Battlefield 2 and Battlefield Bad Co. 2 are. I don't know any details of BF3, but I am sure it's going to be awesome. Though like I stated before, it's weird that they are bringing the regular Battlefield games to consoles. But I am sure EA want's to spread as much love as possible.

I will say though that it will be hard to top BFBC2. It was like you said a damn near flawless game.

What is the difference between BF and BFBC? I'm not a PC gamer...just as long as BF3 has destructible content, it will be getting my money
I think EA was really generous with BFBC2: Vietnam. They sold it for only $15, but if they had thrown on a campaign, they could have made it a completely different, fully priced game (just like the Modern Warfare series: same crappy gameplay, different time period, and a bajillion dollars revenue for each one). BFBC2: Vietnam is so different from the normal game- neither better nor worse, but it offers an entirely unique experience, and it was pretty impressive that EA offered it as DLC. It's odd-I hate EA when it comes to the App Store, because they seem greedy, lackluster, and quite frankly, subpar. On consoles though, they are my favorite developer. If only they put more effort into their App Store creations...we might see some truly unbelievable stuff.

But what more can be added on the top? Haha, sorry to sound redundant, but the game is already so damn GOOD. I really can't think of anything to add that wouldn't dilute the present standards.
I feel it's criminal that such a mediocre shooter as Black Ops gets so much more money than BFBC2. Quite disappointing.

I'm not too sure. There have to be some differences as it's BF3 and not BFBC3, but I never really got into the main series enough to know how it could go from there. They must know they've got a good system with BFBC2 though.

Just got LBP2! Way excited! Then I should be picking up ME2 this weekend.
And so begins the year of the PS3...

P.S. Anyone here hear about the Portal 2 PS3 bonus? You can hook it up to your steam account, play cross platform, and you get a free download of Portal 2 on Steam also. I hope Sony and Valve continue to improve their relationships even further... :D

Modern Combat Domination came out. But I'm not even going to consider buying it due to BFBC2 and MAG. YES, MAG is still alive.

Considerably less than Microsoft's bribe to Rockstar? It's just good business relations. Serious gamers don't get hurt because they own both consoles ;)

I got LBP2 today also, the Portal 2 PS3 bonus is pretty epic too!

Uum, none, Newell finally realized the potential of the PS3 to be better. It's about freakin' time!

No kidding, and Rockstar still favors PlayStation more. Just like EA favors PlayStation more also! Activision is more siding with Xbox which isn't going anywhere fast. PS3 already has ME2 and 3 thanks to this partnership between them.

Sure there's money involved. A good company is prepared to invest money in order to give their customers the best experience possible. Nothing wrong with that, it's fairly common. Fast food chains, airlines, insurance companies... they're all paying out cash so we can get better deals.

It's a buy 2 get one free deal. Go to any of those three games and there is a link under the description. I got it yesterday, so it might not still be going on. And I also had a random email from them saying I had a free 20 dollar credit. So it was 75, with the 20 off. Still a great deal though!

    Edit- Nevermind! Here's the link-Amazon
