Thread is getting off-topic. Also, I just wanted to pop in and say that Uncharted 2 is by far the best, most mind-blowing, action packed, mind numbing game ever. It has such amazing gameplay and plot, and the graphics are superb too. No wonder it won 32 Game of the Year awards.
Uncharted 2, agree its a really great game and still in play with it actully and competing with just recently bought Black Ops. Never played the other Cod's so this is kind of a special game for me seeing I'd never played a true rpg......unless you want to add Rachet and Clank in there somewheres... Man, that Fallout: NV just wasn't for me for some reason or maybe just don't feel like getting into it at this time and besides the game froze up a few times, etc. So keeping it on the back files for maybe later play when updated....hopefully.
Im thinking about getting COD4, based on its offline splitscreen multiplayer. Can the person next to me save his progress? Like perks or unlocks saved, along with mine? How are the maps in cod4, compared to its sequels?
Uncharted 2 is probably my top game of the decade. Since I haven't had the glorious chance to play Half-Life 2 yet. Uncharted 3 is going to be epic just from the gameplay shown.
Yeah and Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi makes Neptune's four moons look like Christmas dinner. How many more random comparisons are you planning on coming up with?
OK, so maybe I exaggerated a bit, but it's definitely a great game. I haven't had a chance some other great games that have been mentioned here, but I do feel like Uncharted 2 is a game that would easily stay in my Top 5 Best Games Ever list. Yeah, I still need to look at the trailer for Uncharted 3, but if it's anything like Uncharted 2 I'm definitely going to get it. Guys, what are you top 5 PS3 games? I might need a couple new ones in the future. They don't have to be the most recently released, just ones that you think are really great.
I agree Kunning. Uncharted 2 was amazing. I was spoiled though because that was my first PS3 game. My top 5... 1. Uncharted 2 2. Heavy Rain 3. Assassin's Creed 2/Brotherhood 4. inFamous 5. Mirrors Edge Runners up- 6. Heavenly Sword 7. Red Faction: Guerilla 8. Darksiders 9. Batman- Arkham Asylum 10. Enslaved Mirrors Edge was probably the *most fun of those games, but it had a couple annoying parts and was pretty short.
My top would be: Uncharted 2 inFamous Bad Company 2 R&C Future: A Crack in Time Fallout: New Vegas PS: this list shall be totally changed as soon as some of the good games come out (ie: inFamous 2 replaces 1 and same for Uncharted, Mass Effect 2 then 3 will be in there)
No Fallout 3? No BFBC2? No Red Dead Redemption? No Orange Box? I guess it's hard to include all those great games in one list That said, I'm glad you listed Batman: Arkham Asylum. Are you as pumped for Arkham City as I am?
I played Half-Life 2 a while ago on my computer, but I didn't even realise that episodes 1 & 2 existed, until now. So I think I'll get Orange Box for my PS3, or at least add it to my backlog of games to get. I'm at 98% with Just Cause 2, and it's pretty damn hard finding the last items/fuel stations. I still have Rainbow Six Vegas 2 to complete, as well as Oblivion and some DLC packs on Fallout 3.
The Orange Box is flat out the best deal in video game history. Don't put it on any backlog-it's only 20 bucks, get it now. Your life will be changed
Haha well I stil need to pick up Red Dead Redemption and BFBC2. Fallout 3 was good, just not as much fun to me. And I picked the Orange Box up on steam the other day for 7 bucks, so I don't use the PS3 version anymore. Arkham City should be pretty amazing though!
The problem is, I have TDU2 pre-ordered and I hate buying new games when I've got games that I haven't finished. I suppose I could buy it and store it for later. How are the graphics on the PS3 version? Are the graphics much different from the PC version?
I actually have an XBox...no PS3...but the PC does have slightly better graphics than my XBox. The textures are a tad sharper and crisper. That said, it's not a huge difference, as the graphics on the console are still pretty brilliant. Also, I don't know why, but the gravity gun feels so much more natural with a controller than with a keyboard and mouse. What's TDU2?
