I watched the video review and decided I don't want it It looks way too much like AC2, the performance problems are still all there, and the multiplayer basically has one mode which is haltered by a few niggles such as being unable to properly defend yourself and too many of the same NPC model floating around, making it obvious which one is your target. I'm sure it's a good game, but most of the reasons for it being a good game are ones that were there in AC2.
just got AC Brotherhood! I played through sequence 1 and i am halfway through sequence 2. Overall it is basically more of AC2(or AC2.5) which i dont think is a bad thing. There are also some new gameplay additions and Rome is huge and full of stuff to do. There are still some occasional glitches but they aren't game breaking (at least not all of them). Performance on PS3 is much better than that of AC2. There are still some framerate dips but they aren't as annoying as the framerate in AC2.
I called it AC 2.5 earlier and I haven't even seen IGN's review, it just seemed glaringly obvious. I'll probably pick it up cheap next year instead of just replaying AC2.
Got my dispatch text for NFS: Hot Pursuit! Impressions tomorrow. P.S: http://i.imgur.com/DMNa6.jpg <-- Oh yeahhh! Forza 3 can kiss it.
Unfortunately my postman decided not to deliver my game today, looks like I'm waiting until tomorrow like the rest of the UK this time
Bwahahaha I caved it and went to my local gamestore and picked it up So far it's awesome, buttery smooth with short loading times! This and Brotherhood are gonna keep me occupied for a while.
I'm not too fussed, it was only to keep my busy until next week when the serious gaming begins with GT5. Speaking of which, the hype is building up over at the GTPlanet forums: Currently Active Users 4404 (730 members & 3674 guests)
Black Ops was amazing. Great way to get into the series. I'm off to buy the other 3 or so games from this gen.
Ima black ops king add me if you want to play: JALBASHA. don't play on weekdays much because of school but I'm up for a game anytime on the weekend, so come and watch me smack people, and Donovan there are ps3 mica for like 15 bucks out there man that work decently, trust me it more fun.
Especially with BBC2. For most games, the mic is there but talking doesn't contribute much, but with Battlefield, talking is quite essential. You can talk about things like flanking, enemy positions, spawning, classes, "help I need ammo, revive", etc.
