Yeah, that's right. I like hardcore games, but I don't really have enough time to buy every major game and finish it. Also I only got my PS triple a year ago, so I'm still catching up with some of the older games (i.e - Oblivion).
That's cool pal. I'm probably in the same boat as you. I have very little time to play but when I do, I make sure to keep up with every game that comes out and is over 80% Meta-rated.
Got my Rock Band keyboard! Used to mess around with keyboards a bit as a kid... can't say it's helped much, this is tough.
Not on the keyboard you won't I'm sitting here looking at the screen with my mouth open like a fish trying to get my fingers into the right positions.
I'm prone to the fish look myself pal, but usually when I'm watching Cheryl Cole hahaha. When you stop the fish out, get that 100% video up!
This is so difficult, and so different from guitar. Once you get used to the guitar you can load up any song, even ones you've never heard and just play the whole thing by sight alone and do quite a good job of it. With pro keys you pretty much have to go into either practice mode or "learn a song" mode and learn the whole thing first, or at least the main sections. It forces you to take the game one song at a time instead of ripping through 'em, which is quite fun to be honest. Edit: Not to mention the fact when when you're playing in a band you can look at your hands as much as you like, but playing keys on a game means you get more or less no time at all to take your eyes off the screen and check your finger placements. By the time I've got it mastered I'll know my keyboard well enough to form a civil partnership with it.
Keyboards in general are fun, But I can see them on a game like RB3 as being quite difficult to master. Kudos to you Mid, can;t wait to try em out.
I spend about 20 minutes going through a little section of a song, repeating it over and over until I feel somewhat comfortable with it, then move onto the next section, another 20 minutes, then another section, 20 minutes. Then I load up the full song and instantly forget everything I just learned.
It was never intended for PS3, so really it's more of a "Haha, we stole yet another of your exclusives" situation rather than a "Woe is me, we waited 18 months for the PS3 version to come out" one.
This is more a PSP question than a PS3 question, but close enough. Valkyria Chronicles 2 or GOW:GOS. I've played the other GOW game on the PSP and liked it but this one pretty much seems to be the same game with a different background, or at least felt like that on the demo. I've never played Valkyria chronicles before and the demo isn't on my countries' PSN store but it looks interesting and I'm quite interested in strategy games so could be keen to give it a go. What do people think?
You should be able to download the Valkyria demo off of here, as well as other demos that may not be available at your store. Can't really help you with your question other than that though. I tried both demos and I'm not a fan of the genre Valkyria is in and I don't want to play anything God Of War related anymore. I had enough after GoW 3.
