Tried both yes, neither worked. Going to the store to pick up a component cable today after work. Hopfully that will look allright. Does it look as good as HDMI though? That's all I am worried about. I want to get the very best I can out of my systems graphics and sound-wise.
Technically it's not as good, but it's still HD so to be honest most people wouldn't notice the difference. You'll definitely be happy with it though.
I unfortunately am one of those people who do notice differences but I'm sure I will be happy enough with it. Bleh. Sucks ass.

+1! Alright, the one game think PS3 needs is something similar to Super Smash Bros, but with Sony characters. As in Crash, Spyro, Ratchet, Clank, Quark, Jak, Daxter, Sly, Drake, Sully, Cole, Zeke, Snake, etc. Plus all the villains to accompany them.

Yeah I can't be bothered most of the time. Every now and then I do some just because it's an incentive to go back to games I haven't played for ages and get the most out of them while I still can.
I'm surprised when I actually finish a game these days, when I do, I know it's a damn good one cause of that. Vanquish and Dead Rising 2 are classic examples.
Someone go and buy my copy of Rock Band 3 from play.com! I got bored waiting for the keyboard so I've ordered the game + keyboard bundle which arrives sooner, only now I have to sell my second copy of the game to make the money back. Takes a bit of effort, but I get my keyboard 8 days sooner!
I'm still playing Just Cause 2 and Oblivion. I finished Fallout 3 and all the DLC packs. I think the next PS3 game I'll buy will be Test Drive Unlimited 2, next year.
Yeah I downloaded the demo and thought to myself "F*ck, if this game is half as good as the demo I'm in for a hell of a time". Kinda hard too on the hard setting, which is good.
