Yeah, I have it on 360, don't know if the community is as good on PS3 but the game is still fun. TIP: Always make a team of Cable, Iron Man and Storm or Cyclops. Best chars in the game.
The PS3 community is great due to multi-console owners preferring the d-pad. Utmost importance in a 2D fighter.
Uncharted, easily. inFamous is just your standard open world, collect items on rooftops, beat up groups of enemies kind of game, it's not really that impressive. Uncharted's ability to tell a compelling story in an almost movie-like manner is awesome, you genuinely start to like the characters by the end of the game and the storyline itself is actually really interesting. Combine that with excellent platforming, entertaining firefights and the occasional puzzle and you've got a winner. Then you get to play U2 which is even better.
I think the fact the stories are different in each (although the second does reference the first and it's cool to see the characters you know reappear) is just a better reason for playing both. It means it's not simply a rehash but a relatively new experience both times. I couldn't wait to find out how the story would unwravel in the Uncharted games, and to see what awesome scenery I'd be navigating in the next chapter, but with inFamous I was bored way too soon. The whole city is the same dreary grey architecture over and over, nothing really stands out, nothing is impressive to look at and the story didn't seem to move at all... just a bit of uninspired and cliche superhero nonsense.
To be honest, I'd say get both IF and UC2. I feel the opposite to John regarding InFamous. I really loved it. I loved the abilities such as gliding and grinding, they felt great. The comic book cutscenes are worth playing the game for, alone. Then UC2 which is obviously sublime. One of the best paced campaigns in recent memory.
I suppose if you're just after a bit of open world city navigation with the occasional punch up it's alright, but to be honest I think I'd rather swing than glide and I own Spider-Man: Web of Shadows The speed and height you can get up to with Spidey makes for more exhilarating travel.
Get Uncharted 2, first. I played through the 2nd first, then DF, and it really didn't make much of a difference in story progression.
If it made little difference then why not just play them in order anyway? U2 has more impressive set pieces, save the best till last.
I totally get why you're not fussed on IF mate, it's a real Marmite game. Regarding Spidey, who doesn't want to be free to rock and roll as the ultimate bad ass Super Hero!?
Odds are against Uncharted: Drake's Fortune I'm sorry to say inFAMOUS IGN - 9.2 inFAMOUS Gamespot - 9.0 inFAMOUS Metacritic - 85 Uncharted IGN - 9.1 Uncharted Gamespot - 8.0 Uncharted Metacritic - 88 And considering the fact that every building scalable... I'll get inFAMOUS now and UC2 later and then UC1 shortly after
WOULD YOU PLEASE LISTEN??!!! THE UNCHARTED SERIES ARE MUCH BETTER GAMES!!! If you want inFAMOUS, download it on PSN for $30; you need 12GB of space to download it, even though the game's only 6GB. It gives the other 6 back after installation. If you're a P+ member, you get a discount and one-hour free trial of the game. Hopefully, you're P+, so you can do the trial. Then play the demo of Uncharted or Uncharted 2. You'll pick the right choice, I hope.
I played the inFAMOUS demo (non-PS+) and both UC demos, I liked them all but I want inFAMOUS right now.
Uncharted 2, hands-down. Although I got Skate 3, ModNation Racers, and MAG coming in the mail from eBay, so it could be one of those (probably not though)
