Alright I understand the first one was at least decent though.

Yeh, never played the first one, so I didn't know what I was getting into either way.

 

It's really cheap now, I got it for like $10. Don't remember where, but I found it pretty boring and repetitive. And this is coming from a Star Wars fan. It got boring before I was halfway through. Looks like the new one will be the same way judging by the demo.

 

Thank you it is completely repetitive and boring as hell.

 

They improved everything else, except the repetitiveness and boredom.

 

I'm waiting for Vanquish anyway mate, I'm just saying I was surprised by how much I liked the demo of the game.

 

Have you heard all the recent talk about Vanquish? One review mentioned the game only being 4-6 hours long, another one said you could expect to finish it in around 4. Obviously it's sparked a lot of arguments, with fans of the game claiming it doesn't matter because you're supposed to replay it over and over to go for score and play the challenge mode etc. I'm not totally convinced... 4 hours is very short indeed, I'm gonna need more reviews to try and clear this up otherwise I'll be waiting for a price drop.

A real shame because I thought the game looked awesome, and Sega don't usually skimp on game length.

 

Absolutely mad isn't it mate? Let's say 5 hours for arguments sake. I've spent about 30 hours on DR2 and that cost me £32. I'd say most people (definitely us two) could rip through Vanquish in one night.

 

Phantasy Star Portable 2 provides hundred of hours of gameplay.

But that's PSP.

or
3D Dot Game Heroes

This. I think you've been overestimating 3D Dot Game Heroes, it's a budget title at best.

 

3DDH didn't live up to expectations.

 

Alright, Uncharted and Minecraft it is. But I'll probably still get 3DDGH later on.

 

Vanquish is getting mixed reviews, but Eurogamer gave it a 9. So I'm happy.

Preordered it now. Also, Fallout New Vegas was dispatched to me about an hour ago so it'll be at my house tomorrow morning... only I won't be able to join it until Saturday

God, now that I here about Fallout: New Vegas being REALLY buggy, I think I'll get Fallout 3 too Uncharted 1 and Fallout 3. The two games I outta have.
