I just read the Edge review of Enslaved. Definitely convinced me to pick that one up after I finish Dead Rising 2. I tell you what, I've got an unopened Spiderman: Shattered Dimensions. Time to get rid? I think maybe.
Yeah I haven't had any issues yet with the 650gb HD, I did read about that, but I think it was assumed more than anything that it wouldn't work. It did overheat once, and shut off, but I've had that happen before, and have had no problems since. I talked to a friend of mine who works for Sony, and he was talking about installing a 1 terabyte hard drive when it releases... seems he had no qualms about it when a 1TB is available... I'll keep you posted on it!
That is a hell of a lot of bytes. Also if you guys haven't seen this yet: http://ps3.ign.com/articles/112/1126681p1.html
@Lombardo: Yes it is! hope it lasts me until the next Playstation comes out! So I talked to my friend from Sony, and he said that my system overheated because it's the 1st gen system, and they had those issues, so it had nothing to do with the hard drive. Fingers crossed everything goes okay, but according to him you can install up to a Terabyte!
Got my PS Move today. Good fun. Definitely needs a promising library to use it to it's full potential but for now I'm just enjoying the basic stuff. Makes the Wii motion controls seem positively stone-age. Oh, got Castlevania too. Not played it yet.
GAMESPOT ARTICLE: According to GameStop, Call of Duty: Black Ops is poised to surpass Modern Warfare 2s tallies and break the retailers all-time preorder record. "GameStop is tracking to all-time, record reservations on Call of Duty: Black Ops, said Bob McKenzie, senior vice president of merchandising at GameStop. We are ahead of where we were with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 last year, which previously set the industry standard. Specific numbers were not provided, but GameStops comments echo the preorder assessment Pacific Crest analyst Evan Wilson made in July. If preorders are indicative of total sales (and they often are), Black Ops will fall in line with Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Koticks thought that each entry in the Call of Duty series will outperform its predecessor. However, Wilson doesnt think Black Ops will break Modern Warfare 2s sales records. He has pegged Black Ops to sell 12 million units in the holiday season. Modern Warfare 2 moved 16 million in the same period. Call of Duty: Black Ops, with 3D support, goes on sale for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii, DS, and PC on November 9. im getting closer to buying either a ps3 or xbox. i have a ps2 i never used. guess i fail at being a gamer.. am trying. been thinking of getting a DS. was given a box of DS games from my sisters brother in law. apparently he has beat them and is moving onto girls? laughs.. ooo tweens they are funny creatures. anyhow.. i think im leaning to the sony play station cause it can run blueray too and figure i can use it to stream netflex in this room.. my big screen is internet ready so i need no box for it. chris.
Get the PS3. Lots of games available like Uncharted 2 I'm playing now. And other games coming in the near future. I also have a PS2 laying around I'd forgotten about. What to do with it. Could give it away, I suppose. On another note I'd just sold my recently acquired PSP/games yesterday. I just could not get used to the button placement and the screen always seemed dark even with the brightness on high so usually hooked it up to the tv which can be a hassle. Anyway, the money is going towards a new Touch so I don't feel any great loss.
Get a PS3. - Lot's of good exclusives - BlueRay player - Internet browser (I watch quite a lot of online TV on my TV). - Won't break all the time like the 360 - Free online multiplayer
And yet people complain, it's sad. But I agree, he's looking great, he actually looks like he's in his 20's and not 40 years old. His voice fits him now too. My most anticipated game of 2011. Only Uncharted 3 could change that.
IF UC3 comes out, it'll be at the very end of the year anyway, so let's just say it's your most anticipated game of first half 2011.
Okay... Anyway, is there a way to get into an empty match in BC2 so you're the only one playing, much like going into a private match in MW2 by yourself? And does Resistance 1 or 2 have local multiplayer?
You say that as though it's not true I'm only going by that picture you posted, but he could quite easily be made of rubber right there. Especially with that hair, I can imagine squeezing his head and getting a dent stuck in it.
I disagree, with all the wrinkles, that scar, etc. he doesn't look rubbery. Unless people look rubbery, then, well you know.
