That a huge assumption just cause you think wii is bad does not make it bad. your opinion just like mine is not a fact. bad console no there no such thing as bad consoles. all console go by who has the most sales its not going to change cause your company fail to win. If sony or ms won than they you be saying or singing a diffrent tune. Nintendo has plenty of money that why there be making another console. sony and ms also got plenty of money since they can't take losses. but you have to think who is bigger? Sony and ms are bigger than nintendo so they can take more risk than nintendo. No I don't think I'd be singing a different tone. I'm not attached to MS or Sony so I wouldn't care less if they 'won' the battle of consoles. IMO, they already won by making more (quantity) good games. I honestly have no clue what you're trying to imply with the rest of that paragraph. Yes being a casual gamer does affect your impression of the Wii. A lot of the games are like mini-games. I can't see myself playing any amount of those wii-sport games for longer than, let's see, castle crashers (cost is the same right?). The Wii doesn't have a good game like CoD, or Dead Rising, or Mass Effect, those are what I consider 'hardcore' games. The Wii has good games like Super Smash Bros: Brawl and Super Mario Galaxy 2, games which the PS3/360 don't have. I'd say Brawl and Galaxy are a lot more casual than Gears of War. These Casual games appeal to literally everyone. Throw in those Wii-fit and other shit that isn't found on other consoles and anyone would buy it, the demographic of buyers is huge (girls, women, kids, teens). Flick of the wrist, whatever. My accuracy would be .01% in CoD if I had to use my wrist to aim. "USE FACTS" lulz, where are your facts, buddy? This is a purely opinionated argument.
Oh, goody, you're back. Have you been lurking in the shadows waiting for someone to badtalk Nintendo this entire time? In response to your argument on how Nintendo is better because they have more revenue, I give you this: just because record labels have more money than indie or independent groups does not automatically make the record label's bands better. In fact, in a lot of cases they're worse, but that's not the point. The point is, if you're judging a video game company (specifically just their gaming departments) based on how much money they're making, you are maintaining a very blinded view on what "quality" means. Halo sells millions within the first couple days of release; that doesn't mean that I can claim that the game is better than Uncharted 2 or Super Mario Galaxy. You would have to analyze many more points in order to determine which console or game comes out on top, which is where your opinion comes in and then your verdict can no longer be fact; it's just an opinion. It's like you said, we all have our opinions. We don't have to like Nintendo's method and you don't have to like Sony's or Microsoft's. Now quit defending Nintendo like it's your baby and go play some games. That's what it's all about, right?
I said the Wii in general, it could have been better if they hadn't wasted their time on motion controls, and just used a plain old controller, then added 1080p graphics like PS3 and 360, and online, etc. They would have the most selling console in the USA right now, but the 360 has the spot currently, and PS3 is sneaking up behind him. The Wii was one of those "If it's not broken don't fix it" issues. Seeing as you owned all Nintendo consoles, with the exception of a PSone. You Are a Fanboy What are you doing in the PS3 in the first place! If you gonna flame GTFO!

what you call the gamecube this is the reason they went this way. its what you don't understand. every things need to be updated like it or not. stop being afarid of new things. and take it. really this old agurment dude... controllers have around since who knows... it was time for updated. let look at the history of updated gaming controls. atari angolge control fail to work well enough... nes dpad sega trying to get online and having simliar control comepete with nintendo. n64... angolge controls... ps2- double angogle controls ps3- add blu ray... blue tooth... and sixass which is in game boy color handheld. xbox- great onlins sereivce made well xbox360- update the controller that a bit it. wii- motion snesor controlling. ps move... motion sensors kickent everything is updated if there are not updated they won't work anymore and this why the gaming industry died last time. if we didn't get updates with diffrent controllers... do you think you would have a handheld with 3ds coming out next year? hd on consoles and tvs? blu ray players update is part of life. you don't like you might as well live under a rock

Btw: before I start this, you do know there is an edit button so you don't triple post, you should use it Anyway, the changes you list are just changes in the controller (ie: button layout, controller shape). And what do you mean by sixaxis was in gameboy color, it's the name of the controller . I'm trying to say, that motion control is not the direction gaming should go, I embrace change, I love Bluray, online, HD, and renovations to controllers. But the Wii was too big of change. It's gimmicky too, it's cool and fun for the first month or two, and when you show other people that are gamers or non gamers alike, they think it's cool and buy it, it's the snowball effect, but when the big snowball gets toward the end of the mountain it slows down because it's not as steep, the Wii was a gimmick, there are only a few games that are good on it, with a PS3 or Xbox 360 there are always more great games to get. Gamers who've been gaming since the NES, SNES, Genesis, etc. or even the PSone and N64.
