It is pretty much like the Wii, only in HD. Which is all I care about. The PS3 will (hopfully) put out games I want to play *laughs* there are a few Wii gems out there though. Like I said, I am just waiting for On-Rails shooters like House of the Dead on the PS3. *drools*
ya house of the dead games would definitely be badass (i think they have them on wii already but obviously not HD quality).... I just couldnt see myself playing a serious shooter like Killzone with the Move controllers, would be a little too weird... Plus all the first Move titles have been getting mediocre to average reviews, not really surprised....sony has been fvckin up theyre brand for the past few years already
Move is pretty crap, but I know I'll be kicking myself if I don't have it on launch. I think The Shoot may be one of the better games coming out for it.
Yeah House of the Dead 2 &3 are on the Wii already and we play the hell out of them. I just want something similar for the Move. I don't expect it to do very well though honestly, but I do expect it to do better than kinect LOL
Kinect looks cool but not so much for gaming. If I am playing a tennis, golf, shooter, ect game, I want to use a controller of some sort.
Nah it's fine. The glowing orb is nice too. It's just nothing new at all. I feel it's no different to having Wii Motion Plus. Still, nice to have some HD stuff going on.
Yeah I can imagine. Does the little glowing ball change colours depending on the player? (1st player, 2nd player, etc.)
No idea mate. Hell if I'm going to buy 2 of them for the price they are charging. I've played twice now and the glowing dildo has always been pink. How's that for a gay sentence? I did try Table Tennis and it was a hell of a lot of fun. Good stuff.
I've tried Kinect, and the only reason it fails is because of the slight delay in reaction time to your movement, which is expected, but makes games a LOT harder. Haven't played PS Move, but looks like a Wii Motion Plus for the most part. Conclusion: Motion gaming sucks.
Tried Eyepet with Move, it's really cool indeed. Thumbs up for sure. Tried Heavy Rain with Move, HORRIBLE and I can't be bothered getting to grips with it. Tried the Enslaved demo, absolutely cracking. A sure fire 85+% game. Reminds me of fantastic platforming from Uncharted 2 and the combat is super smooth and very God of War'ish. Tried the Fifa 11 demo, plays even better than 10... Funny that! I've downloaded about 20GB of shite today alone, a superb PSN update full of demo action and other sweet deals.
I just purchased a PS3 over the weekend (ohh yeaa) and one of the games I'm in play is R/C: Tools of Destruction. (have played them all when games were released for PS2). I agree its not as good as GC. The other game in waiting is A Crack in Time. Maybe I should have played that one first. Not sure what games to get. Looking at God of War III and such but not actually sure of what games I'll like to be playing as of yet but this looks good to me. I'd been given a 3 page (over 150+) new release games for this year and next and simply overwhelmed with whats listed. Been watching this thread since made and some great info here. Thanks.
Holy shat. GOTY right here ladies and gentleman. Imagine the limitless possibilities of LBP 2. Platformer, puzzler, racer, shooter, RPG. Now what I want to see is the RPG's and Shooter in a 3D environment like the racer. They're gonna make a killing DLC though, I can tell ya that. But this just made me decide that LBP2 is going to be GOTY unless they screw something up big time. Wow... That blew my mind.
The only games I have are Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Madden 11, and Resident Evil 5. I'm getting a little tired of CoD and I beat Resident Evil 5 (which was really good.) And, sports sims don't entertain me for too long. Anyways, what game should I get now? I'm looking for a shooter/crime sim/action game. I was thinking about True Crime: Hong Kong when it comes out. Or Medal of Honor. Which should I get? Any other suggestions?
Get Red Faction Guerilla. It's an open world 3rd Person Shooter with an awesome physics engine. Knocking down buildings is SO much fun. But it's a pretty fun shooter, an open world game, and it's pretty big too. Probably... at least 20 hours. Plus, it's only 20 bucks on the PSN. (Or 20ish buying it used.) Also, try the inFamous demo. It's a fun superhero open world game that got good reception. I liked it a lot. It's only 30 bucks now.
