Just tried the Vanquish demo. Blistering stuff. So much going on at the same time, it's like a sci fi version of Bayonetta. Which is no bad thing, seeing as Bayo is one of the best games of the year (well, the 360 version anyway). Bring on October.
Vanquish demo was horrible imo, they need more checkpoints, the controls were pretty bad too. Nothing good on Move on launch day, unless you're getting EyePet but Heroes on the Move next year will be epic
Wow... Played the Vanquish and Shank demos. They were both pretty freaking awesome. People complained about shank being too hard, but I didn't even die once in the demo. I thought it was a blast!
Ehhh... Looks like a "dull zapfest"... I'm just kidding! That looks SOOO freaking awesome. I love the cinematic effects when Cole melées enemies and when he gets hit hard. And did anyone notice how good those trees and everything looked? I can't wait. Off subject, just finished the main story of MGSW, and it was crazy! Not as hard as I thought it would be though. But way awesome.
just got a ps3 today, only ever had a wii otherwise. Loving the NHL 11 demo. Any single must have game?
Wow... You're in for a treat. Try the infamous, Uncharted 2, and Mirrors Edge Demos. Those are probably my top three games. What style of games do you prefer? RPG, Shooter, Platformer, etc?
Really into sports games, but otherwise I'm pretty open regarding types of games. Shooter would probably come next after Sports. Reeeeeally excited about all of this haha
congrats on the ps3!!!! if your strapped on money pick up a used copy of Uncharted its like 17 used now.... Resistance is also pretty low and very awsome games, play those then buy the sequels!!! if your into tactical/espionage shooters then pick up Metal Gear Solid 4.... its down to 17-20 used... Sports - NHL , MADDEN, NCAA,MLB THE SHOW... all great games there is just tons of stuff, if you go to your local gamestop/ebgames used game store many cheap selections that are just fantastic games....
I would say there is definitely a chance. What do we have, Bulletstorm, Killzone 3, Dead Space 2, Brink, what else can you think of?
Brink is definitely a candidate, Killzone 3, Dead Space 2, Resistance 3, Mass Effect 2 (PS3), Crysis 2, Bulletstorm, Gears 3, and Uncharted 3 (pleeaase Naughty Dog). I personally don't think Bulletstorm will be that great, but ME2 has a chance of winning again imo.
Agreed pal. I think Bulletstorm will be throwaway 80% average stuff. I'm be a very happy camper if Uncharted 3 crept in there, unfortunately, I doubt it though. ;\ Gears 3 will surely thrill us all, positive of that though. What a great time to be a gamer, hey Don!
Fallout NEW VEGAS im chomping at the bit to play this!!! im still playing FALLOUT 3 GOTY theres so much content in that game stuff i never seen each time i play.... and dont forget about bioshock infinite!!!!
If this did come out in 2011, then I would surely know the world would come to an end. There is no possible way that existence can go on after such an incredible line-up for that year.
