I'm getting the Sly Cooper Collection, and will get one more game, here's my list: - Medal of Honor - Star Wars: The Force Unleashed - Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood - Fallout: New Vegas Feel free to suggest other things, but I need ONE game
I can't really remember what was in the demo, but yeah. It gets real exciting once you start unlocking more cars, they all feel so different and the fast ones blow your face off. You'll undoubtedly have the navigation problem everyone has though, but eventually you'll learn the landmarks and use them to judge routes. Plus you'll remember those annoying corners with the barrier right in the middle of the street, after you've wrecked on it a dozen or so times
Hahaha, that's it Johnny. I sucked at the finding where I was supposed to be going, in the demo. I'm starting to get bored with Split/Second. It basically recycles the same track over and over. Seriously, not good.
Anyone, pick one game off of the list, or suggest a new one, but they need to have release dates close to each other.
Basically you just learn the 10 or so big, long roads on the map and they'll take you anywhere. The finish line is always one of 8 set landmarks, and they're all joined by the same major routes really, it's just the occasional side road you need to go down as you hop between the main roads that confuses people. Plus you have to remember that crashing doesn't equal failure, even if it puts you straight into last place. Throughout the whole career I went by the rule "2 crashes is recoverable, 3 means you've lost". Even on the toughest races in the game I could afford to crash twice and still catch up before the end.
I'm looking forward to the new borderlands content thats supposedly due in a few weeks, also my kid has this obsession of buying every LBP DLC, she tells me its a must to have the whole collection! Meh sammysin pointed out some good stuff coming to the ps3.
That's great stuff mate. It's pretty much over if you crash once in S/S. What do you make of NFS:HP? I saw the gameplay from GamesCom and I have to admit I thought it looked super sweet. Nitro is a must and I like what I saw.
All I know about NFS:HP is it's about police chases. You can be either the criminal and try to escape, or the cop and try to take down the criminal. You get a bunch of "weapons" at your disposal like calling in spike traps and (I think) even helicopters to help you. They haven't really gone into much more detail, but the cop chases in Burnout 2 were amazing so it should be good.
Castle Crashers on PSN August 31st. http://blog.us.playstation.com/2010/08/19/castle-crashers-coming-to-psn-august-31st/ Who else is excited?
I feel like it's always me who's the negative one... but: Not me. Repetition central, plow through the entire game using the same combo = dull. You will end up doing that too if you aim to unlock all of the characters, 'cause you've gotta go through the same thing so many damn times you just wanna get it over with. First time around is quite fun though, but not that long.
Huh, a Deathspank sequel when the first one only came out a month ago: http://kotaku.com/5617364/we-get-a-surprise-deathspank-sequel-next-month
It's EA's way of saying "HEY! People liked this game! Let's hurry and pump out like 7 more sequals and MORE MORE MORE MORE untill everyone hates it!" Bleh.
So pumped hearing that there's going to be a Vanquish demo next week. At least on Japanese PSN. Good thing I made that Japanese account.
