i know its 14.95 in canadian store, and i think its pretty much sold out all over, deal started 4 days ago, so you'll be lucky to find it in stock but if you can its a great deal

 

That's a bargain, you should still get it even if you find it for double the price.

 

Woooohoo! I love eBay! Just got the Rachet and Clank Future games and DJ Hero with the turntable for 60 bucks total! Yeah! I love eBay right now.
Crap.... When will I have time to play all of these great games? I still need to beat Dark Void, Darksiders, Red Faction: Guerilla, And AC2! And school starts in 3 weeks! Augh!

 

Pro tip man, don't get Dark Void. It blows.

 

Got it brand new for 10 bucks two weeks ago and I actually like it a lot. I'm a sucker for TPS's. Kinda generic shooter, but a pretty good story and some unique features.

I just played the Mafia 2 demo. Wasn't expecting much, but I was instantly impressed. The game captures the 50's mafia feeling perfectly and the level of interaction is outstanding. It actually feels a bit like a Rockstar game. It's how I have always imagined LA Noire to be like.
I definitely recommend downloading the demo if you haven't done so already.

 

Did you play the first game? Classic example of a hidden gem, not enough people got to play it but those who did knew how great it was.

 

Nope, I have never played the first game.
The demo I played for Mafia 2 was very good I thought. It has taken some good ideas from GTA, added some extra realism and wrapped it up in a nice 50's theme. I really love the style and the music. I also like those hidden playboy posters

 

The first Mafia was actually epic, if only for the storytelling alone.

 

Hey does anybody here have Lair? It sounded like a good game except for the SiAxis flying controls. There is an update in the playstation store that added new control schemes. But none of the reviewers have updated their scores.
I kinda wanna buy it.

 

I reckon M2 is going to be one of the better stories of the year, game wise. I love that Italian/American dialogue.

 

I played the first game a few years back on the PC, loved it. I remember a crazy race in the game that i had to use a glitch to win.

 

Oh man, I was so bad at the racing level. Took me so many tries to beat it.

I'm going to order Uncharted 2 soon, and then Fallout 3 a little later. Unless someone can suggest something that is $15 or less that is better than Fallout 3 (and not Oblivion).

 

yeah it was a little too tough, I think they programmed the A.I. wrong. But Mafia Part 1 was definitely a great game. The biggest negative about it was having to restart missions from the very beginning, and the cars back then weren't exactly fast so it took forever to get from point A to point B everytime.

Mafia kind of reminds me of another great PC game I played around the same time called Kingpin. I doubt many people have heard of it or played it but I thought it was a super FPS/crime-themed game. If you can get your hands on it or find a website where you can download it, check it out.
