I'm kind of interested in Crysis 2... also kind of ignoring games at the moment. I'll catch up again soon, it's not possible to miss any anyway with all the gaming nerds I've got on MSN. Not hyped for Portal 2 though, the first game was uber-cool then turned to uber-boring after one (relatively short) playthrough.
Crysis 2 does look good. The graphics and physics look awesome. I'm also pretty exited about Medal of Honour. It looks similar to BFBC2 but it's a bit more realistic and true to real life - set in Afghanistan.
All I've seen of MoH is the box art, judging by that and the name I'm guessing it's some kind of franchise reboot? That's pretty interesting in itself.
How can you not be hyped with a co-op story mode built from the ground up and don't forget all the new features If I had a 3D TV, C2 would be even better. Medal of Honor is like BC2 and MW2 had a beautiful child... I think we have an almost perfect fps, and if Treyarch screws COD 7 up, the throne of war first-person shooters goes to MoH. There are beta videos out now http://bit.ly/adL1mR, and with Medal of Honor: Airborne included in the PS3 version for free also...
It's the lack of replay value that kills it for me. Portal is basically a very cleverly made "escape the room" game. Once you know the answer playing the game becomes nothing more than mindlessly going through the motions.
It is supposed to be much longer than the last one, and plus the whole other co-op mode... I might just get it to hear the music in the credits
Rage and Brink look like pretty good fps. Brink has optional missions in the campaign that you can do instead of just run guns ablazing at the enemy you could sneak behind enemy lines or something else. Rage looks like a pretty good open-world fps, plus who wouldn't want a car that you actually keep and can customize, and don't forget race with... and who wouldn't want an RC Car bomb
