This developer has it right. Reward early adopters. Listen to early adopters and implement changes. Add in icade support. Heck, first time in awhile that I have actually felt good being an early adopter. What a wonderful feeling...
Game Impressions Just wanted to jump in here and comment that A) I don't like the controls right now, either B) the debs are being incredibly responsive and gracious C) I like the game a lot. Bought it as soon as it released and do not regret it.
Controls work for me. I don't get why people are so crazy about it. Must be some kind of old people that can't change their habits already...
The update was send to Apple. It's now in their hands to approve and release it. Hopefully this will happen quickly. .
Why did you have to do this to us? We've waited on this game so long. And the art is fantastic. It's one of the best looking mobile games I have seen. This is what would have happened if Lucasfilm Games had invented Super Mario Bros during the heyday of Scumm. But the gameplay is awful. Mario has consistently been a joy to play, and I can't tolerate playing The Other Bros for more than a few minutes before I remember why I put it down in digust. It will be a shame if this game is not ported to a console where it belongs. As a Vita game, it would be a top game to own. On a mobile device, as long as it has touchscreen controls the game sucks and will never be worth playing.
I have a GameBoy, and if I slide past the dpad, it lets me know by this weird sensation I get in my fingertips. It doesn't move around the gameboy, forcing me to move my character to get it back where I want, likely dying in the process. Nevertheless, the dpad is an excellent idea, just not a floating one. Kudos to the devs for being about to have amazing controls.
Christ, the game has just been released, have patience. The devs have already stated multiple times that the update is within apple approval... It's out of their hands now, have some respect for the developer thanks. I too feel the same sense of disappointment of having waited a while for this game to be released only for it not be what I expected it to be. Hopefully with the developers being so active & receptive to criticisms on the forum the game will be much better for it. Fingers crossed...
A bit harsh, but I kind of agree. I want to like this game so bad, but I'm having a hard time enjoying this game (maybe that's due to the clunky control at the moment.) Hopefully, the upcoming update will change all that. If not, it was worth a try (?)

I love all the comments good and bad because you honor me by playing this game, everyone who plays it to me, is under my wing and I will do what I can to see that frown turn upside down
The entitlement in this thread* is astounding. So much that I'm unable to put my thoughts together towards the issue. Yet, I must express my gratitude towards all developers and their astounding willpower to fondle those who are not fondled by others. *The issues mentioned are not contained by this thread. The contamination of wide-scale auttitlitis is copious. It is a preview of what it is to come in future generations and a reflection of the parents.

Secondly, if you had bothered to read just some of the posts in this 20-odd page thread, you would realise that the devs have just submitted an update improving the controls. Although I wonder how much that would change your opinion since you seem to hate touchscreen controls in general.
