At first I thought this was just like the Grammys app, where it would list the nominations for this year's ceremonies, and nothing else. But holy crap at the positive surprise I had when I opened it up and saw that it goes back to all the Academy Awards ceremonies and lets you see every award nominated and won ...but it pains me that the 2010 nominations weren't in the app at the time of release. I know why (because the nominations were announced a few days after you published the app, presumably?), but it was still rather shocking No worries, though, if those are coming in the next update Excellent app already, though
Yeah at the time the app was ready the nominations weren't out. Apple were approving new apps and updates in under 24 hours so we figured that we'd just get it out there and update as soon as the nominees were announced. Which is what we did, but now Apple are back to roughly 7 days and we are left looking like idiots really hope the update gets approved soon
Cool. Checking this out. Academy Awards are the best I hope Avatar loses most of it's awards. Go District 9 and The Hurt Locker!
