    Hi TA Devs,

I haven't been here in a while as I've not really had as much time to make games... what with kids and day job stealing all my free time but it's good to be back. I'm currently finishing up a pretty decent Runner and I have the same problem as I've always had around this time. Self Publish or go with a Publisher. I've self published with TriplePoint handling PR on a previous title but they have told me that they fear trying to get Media to take notice of "another Runner" which is understandable.

I was wondering if people had any recommendations for current active Publishers. I see Chillngo but they don't seem to have the same volume of releases that they used to have. Crescent Moon would not really be interested in this type of game. So what are my options on the publishing side?

Someone also mentioned to me that Apple have a dedicated Indie support team now that can help get your app noticed by Apple. Is there any truth in that?

    :)

I have no experience with publishers too. But I am very tempted to go with publisher for my next game.

Here are some that I have considered and have games recently featured by Apple:
http://www.ketchappstudio.com/ more casual games i think suitable for you?
    http://corporate.miniclip.com/developers/ casual as well
    http://www.bulkypix.com/
https://www.reddit.com/r/IndieDev/comments/2xweie/hello_rindiedev_im_mike_team17s_community_manager/ team 17, I am quite impressed with the marketing of The Escapists, its my top choice for now. They offer help to polish up your game too(for a bigger cut of course)

Apple dedicated indie support team? I am interested to know too!

With my experience, i will never work with bulkypix again. Just my experience, the choice is yours.

    Thanks for the tip!
Can share the reason? I know you signed an agreement so might not be able to tell us. I'll consider other publishers first.

What kind of download numbers did you see when you self-published? Did you find a publisher for your new game?
