i was checking out the upcoming games from Square Enix list and there are like 6 slated 2016 so safe to say there wont be that many before the app store freeze and if so then it would be the merriest christmas some of the ones I saw that said by end of 2016 Final Fantasy Dimensions II, Final Fantasy XI, Final Fantasy Type O Online... there is almost no way we would see all 3 of those by end of the year It did state Dissidia as early 2017
There is a thread just popped up for a new final fantasy game and right now only China so I'm assuming Japan will have it very soon it didn't say soft launch Looks like type o online but I will verify when it hits Japan
Man, I wish we knew more about FFXI mobile. I'd break every one of my rules -- no consumable IAP, no online-only, no subscription fees -- for that in an instant. But there's been no word on it for, what, a year?
It has been quiet but everywhere I have read even on Japanese sites it's due out by end of 2016 so fingers crossed still
With Square's apparently massive slate of releases coming up, I'm slightly surprised we haven't got a Vagrant Story yet. I can imagine tapping the screen to build up the chains of attacks would work quite nicely. Anyone got any thoughts on this?
Been playing more of FFpart VIII on steam about 16 hours in and it brings back so many memories It's still the one I've played most in the series Just wish I had it on mobile maybe one day and I'm sure one day it will happen
Update on Star Ocean Anamesis now that I've had a few days to play it. Graphics are amazing that's first off. Secondly I like the battles it's not turn based you move around and attack which is great because it enables you to take in the beautiful 3D graphic battles and scenery which does change. The game has you playing either battles or taking in some story to advance so for a free to play RPG it's rare that the story is important and noticeable and with this one it's there and it's not a burden. The rewards are very good and it doesn't force it's free to play on you from the angle. I have gotten some good character and weapons draws so far without paying anything unlike Brave Exvius. Bottom line hope it goes worldwide and if it does even if you are not a fan of FTP it's worth a look. My fav 3D battles on mobile this far.
It should def come to mobile would be a perfect fit I believe and who knows they may have it in the works If they do it I would buy it up instantly that's for sure ha
Downloading FFXV to my XBOX one now can't wait This year my resolution was to play as many of the FF games in the series I could so I started by purchasing a ps2 and reliving those days When it was said and done I played all but 12 and I'm grabbing it for ps2 tomorrow at a retro game store I will have played every number in the series plus tactics type o and some others I can't even recall at moment haha thanks to Japan App Store I was able to play xiii all 3 parts which I had never played x and x-2 on ps2 which I had never played until this year Wish I could've completed them all So for once I kept a New Years resolution now to top it off with XV what a year and looking forward to all the FF mobile games coming in 2017 to mobile Merry Christmas to the thread
Merry Christmas to you too! I envy your resolute gaming this past year. I've been able to relive VI, VII, and IX this year, and even bought the PS3 X/X-2 HD version. And I'm hoping my wife will get me XV Ultimate Edition for my birthday in February since she got me a PS4 for Christmas! I heartily appreciate your optimism for FF mobile titles. Hopefully, I'll be able to give a few of them a try this year!
Wish I had got a PS4 over Xbox one because of final fantasy and dragon quest I bought x and x-2 twice once on ps2 and I also got the steam versions on my CPU along with FFVIII on steam The good thing about x and x-2 on steam is it's the remake version XV is really cool loving it so far already like 5 hours in can't stop playing it ha
Merry Christmas to you too Dailon and everyone else in the thread! I just got a couple of PlayStation gift cards. The problem is I can't decide between getting FFXV or waiting for the FFVII remake. I can only afford one or the other
Yeah, I'd buy almost their whole collection again on Steam if Square-Enix would just make them available for Mac OSX as well as Windows. People always suggest using Wine or dual booting, but when my iPad is right there or a Playstation, I won't bother. Shoot, I could use BlueStacks and the Android version of the classics. Maybe SE will eventually port to Mac... but until then, I'll keep adding to my SE savings account for if that day every arrives.
Yep, merry Christmas to you all! This is the thread I come back to most throughout the year. If you're not Christmas-inclined, er, seasons greetings?!
Final Fantasy Record Keeper Japan version has an event with Noctis as a character unlock I got him and i already have him at level 62! yay hope he comes to the US version too since i play both anyways and would like to add him to that lineup and im sure at some point he will in this event just a note it's only Noctis not any other XV characters
Merry Christmas everyone! It's been a rush here, but now we have time to calm down and enjoy reading and gaming. I have been pouring into FFIV Complete Collection. Enjoying this version immensely! I have FFXV waiting, but I want to finish Setsuna too. Also we're playing a ton and ton of WoW with family and friends so that's fun too.
XV is so much fun I got it for Xbox one and loving it So much to explore and do etc side quests and all that good stuff
OK Reloaders... There's a DQ sale on, and I want to play one of these as my next RPG. I know DQ5 is generally the favourite, but should I go with DQ4 first?
I have them all including VII from Japan And I would say it's okay to start with V and I would probably do that now having said that you can't go wrong with either But I would say if you have none of them go with part III first it's so freaking good and fun to start with V VI VII VIII are newer and get more pub but III is a gem VII is my fav overall of the mobile ones
