Monthly would be my guess and it's possible on App Store so they may give it a try. Hopefully premium pay once but I'm sure I will download it either way
The Sorcery series is amazing - just read a few reviews. In fact, you can read the first RPG Reload history of handheld RPGs as well, to find out a bit about the gamebooks it's based on. My only advice, if you're not sure, is to start with Sorcery 2 or Sorcery 3 - they are both better than the first one. If you like either of them, you'll want to play the full series anyway.
I'll be tempted even though I won't have much time to create. I may get it just to check out all of the forum's creations! You looking forward to making a game in it?
Time only con for me too Yeah def want to make one but time damn time haha The clip reminds me of early DQ so something along that line would be fun
I used to make paper RPGs when I was a kid Many ways you can do it with dice, simple coin flip, playing cards Paper is your land Little slivers of paper for characters I had some classmates that loved my Mario platformer RPG simple heads or tails on that one but it was fun to try to make it to the end haha I had the pipes all of it That was in the late 80s and as kids then there wasn't much to do so we had to create something to do haha I actually was thinking of making one the other day that's why I was glad I saw this
Lol that remind me of being a child. Mum didn't much care for gaming so I didn't really have games. A friend got a game boy and it sealed my fate as a gamer. I couldn't stop thinking sbout games, but since I couldn't get one that wasn't going to stop me. So I spent days and days and days making paper game boys and games for it. Spent more time making than playing arguably. Eventually I did get my game boy though with my one game: Speedy Gonzales. Since I was stuck at lecel 3 I spent months playing speed runs og the first ones. I think I was just going to be a gamer no matter what.
Nice! I wish I would've gotten into that as a kid. It definitely would give me a deeper respect for the RPGs I love... especially Knights of Pen & Paper. I love that one!
This post is so wonderful. I came just a few years late for pen & paper, and by then, the whole steam tunnels thing had given them a bad rap, so we weren't allowed. I think the closest I've gotten is Galactic Keep, which is just so great. Do you still have rules for the SMB RPG??
Almost 20 years ago no I don't Wish I did but I could probably recreate it better now though since times are more advanced
Thanks for the heads up on Kings Knight from Square Enix. Cant wait to play it and hope since it involves the final fantasy XV universe it will drop before actual XV does. I just got into a couple square games that I haven't played yet and prolly the only ones and I'm liking them a lot, guardian cross and deadmans cross. Also square announced last week that a new game set in that universe will be dropping soon called guardian cross codex think that's right name Either way this is a great year to be a square fan and a FF fan with so many good games in the pipeline.
Definitely. Looking forward to get into DQVII too, twitter is making me want it badly! Otherwise Bulgaria is trating us very well. We have sun today so I'm reading King while listening to the waves. Gamingwise I just get more and more into FF Tactics War of the Lions. I actually put on my earphones and listen to the music since it's gourgeous. And as I get stronger and unlocks more abilities and jobs I just keep wanting to dxplore more. A masterpiece!
I have FF Tactics in my terribly long list of purchased iOS games but every time I start it up I always seem to turn it off during the first battle. There is something just not clicking with me. It should be the sort of game that I would relish but nope. I will keep giving it a go occasionally and just hope I can work out what it is because from all I see and hear it is a fantastic game. One game that I am enjoying atm is Ember. It looks absolutely gorgeous on my big iPad Pro. A really good premium isometric view rpg. It's the sort of game that grabs you from the start and doesn't let go. Already I am about 12 hours into the game and have enjoyed every moment. The game has apparently about 30 hours of content though probably a lot more if you like to explore every nook and cranny. Even the grinding is fun as combat is so well executed. It reminds me a lot of the combat in Dragon Age Origins which had a similar pause/action type system. Apparently the pc and mobile versions were developed alongside each other and it shows. The controls and UI are very well done for touch screens. And with a save any time it is perfect for mobile gaming. Also I usually skip over reading books when they are available in these sort of games but these have been written really well and are a great read. Highly recommended.
Ember is a very good game I agree Gotta play past the first battle of tactics come on now Loved playing tactics on console back in the day so it's a walk down memory lane I have two page screens worth (on a 6splus) or 48 of Square Enix games and so I've been playing various ones this weekend Grand Marche, Final Fantasy Legends, Bravely Archive D's Report, Dragon Quest Monsters, and DQ VII and V
I just found my old PSP with its charger. I plugged it in and it surprisingly still works! I did a bit of digging around and got my old copies of Valkyria Chronicles 2, Phantasy Star Portable, and Gods Eater Burst I'll be playing those tomorrow.
I don't think you can get into FFT during one hour. Took it me more like five to truly get going I think Ember sounds interesting!
Sweet! I need to buy Trails in the sky for psp. Ungortunately they lost the rights for it in Europe so no Vita. But it's a series I want to get into.
