I've always liked PSIII, despite it being "different" from the other ones. I really liked the multiple branching storylines and choices you could make. It really added to the replayability.
Final fantasy type o online, Dissidia, XI all out before end of the year on mobile Gonna be good next couple months
Phantasy Star was my first JRPG. Had it on my Game Gear via a cartridge convertor. Super game, and really opened my eyes to other forms of RPGs. However, PS1 is the only one I've played in the series, as Game Gears couldn't play Mega Drive (aka Genesis) games, so I guess that's my favourite. Fantastic for the 8-bit era though.
Dragon Quest XI? Not sure about the other two. If I can't play Type-0 as it is now on PS4 I will probably play it there instead. Dissidia might be a skip. But otherwise as someone who has discovered multiple franchises this year. Good grace. It's almost overwhelming. Just 2016: still haven't beat RomSaGa2. FFXV, The Last Guardian, World of Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest VII, Pokemon Sun and Kingdom Hearts. Also I have only beaten Persona 1 and 5 is soon coming.. But am I catching up on Persona right now? Nope, grinding out jobs i FF Tactics instead. Constructive lol. I guess some games will just have to stand in line and wait for me to catch up. I will play FFXV this year though.
I have yet to play that one. Will play II - IV in order and then I first have to beat II. Was so close, but I manage to delete my saves
FF XI it comes out this year Gotta Play Them All!! I have type o on Xbox one now and it's okay not too bad but also not quite what I expected The mobile version may be a diff version of the game but same universe rather than port we will have to hear more though first to know for sure
Love the new feature article that follows up on free games to see how they hold up over time You hit möbius on the head I liked it for a week or two then found it to be a little bothersome but that's how I usually play free games and I don't ever spend on them exception being record keeper and I only spent on that as a thank you My not spending on free games isn't about the money but the fact I know I won't be playing it long term so why waste on it. Something bizzare I noticed If you go to the square Enix page with all their games a lot are missing including every DQ game but if you search the game itself it shows up and also still in purchased list What's up with that? FFIX is missing too but that's just it it's not missing from the store just the dev page for square
What FFXI??!! I'm very ready to play XI! Didn't even consider that one! Hopefully it will be great! I definitely don't spend a lot on free to play. But I do really like Unchained.
XI is sure thing and I've seen it a few times as releasing in 2016 so yeah very good news It's the year of Final Fantasy with XV and all these other releases We are getting spoiled
Somehow I didn't really pick up on this. Must have been because it is so unexpected. I was just thinking I would have liked to play it. But it seemed sucha hassle. Mobile is perfect! Definitely spoiled.. Oh my, my new 3ds arrived and I'm officially in love with it. My dream was always to play snes games on a new machine and this one looks like a mini snes amd even more so when my cover plates arrives.
3ds is very good my daughters both have one im just stuk on mobile... tried steam on pc and that didnt last and i was back on mobile only things i play are my xbox one and mobile i do want FF Explorers for 3ds so i can play it though my ios backlog is insane right now I need to chill out haha
Mine too, but it doesn't stop there , oh no.. I have a 3ds backlog full of retro goodness, I have a steam library I'm ashamed of because I don't even play steam right now, my vita/psp/playstation rpg backlog are heading totally off the chart and that's before I even mention my ios backlog. I need to write them down and try to work on it a bit more. I really need a game buying restriction, but there's way to many great games coming out..
Last statement says it all!!! And tons more good ones coming as mobile is just really starting to take off Yeah I said a while back and I mean it 24 hours in day isn't enough I only sleep 3-4 1/2 hours as it is haha

I'm ready for a bad week, or several bad weeks in a row, in fact! Finally filled out my Sorcery library last week when they went on sale, so I kind of want to play through from 1-3, ready for Sorcery 4 next week. Can't complain about my backlog, really, as it's entirely self-inflicted, and it's nice to have all those games on the backburner. I swore September would be my month of clearing a couple of RPGs... but then a new Sky Force level came out, Human Resource Machine went on sale, then Corpse Party, and... Damn.
Very good point we need some bad weeks! Corpse party is great just yesterday I got back into it also playing Steins;Gate and my usual FF, DQ games but my latest obsession is a game from the Japan App Store by square Enix called Grand Marche
There could probably be ten bad years and me still working on my backlog.. Most of my backlog are 40-60 hours rpg's.. Bought the first Sorcery because hey it was on sale! That's my issue really I can't resist those sales. Only these last weeks I have bought like 5/6 playstation games for my Vita, and maybe three mobile games. There's no way I can beat them that fast.
Yep sales! I got a couple games on sale this week passed on sorcery since I know nothing about it really Is it good? Maybe I'm missing something I'm not against story driven games or anything Steam and their sales is why I don't steam anymore hahaha they were getting me ha Oh and 505 games just released Ember for 6.99 and it's a nice game I can't resist so much for slow week And def when it drops grab that free Oz game
Final Fnatasy XI is going to be awesome when it comes out. Only thing is though, I wonder if it will require a monthly subscription to play, like the PC version, pay once to play, or freemium.
