I'm exited! I really want to preorder the collector's edition with the gourgeous art. I'm just really hyped for it. So much good now I'm almost relieved for the delay though lol. The big ones for me is KH 2,8, FFXV and World of FF. Replaying all KH now to get ready. I'm definitely playing Record Keeper, probably when I have gotten a little further storywise in KH Unchained.
Honest answer? I don't know. Romancing SaGa 2/3 are very different games from the other SaGa games, but with a similar ethos, if that makes sense. I think they're the best games in the series, and a lot of people agree with me. They're weird games, and if the impenetrability of SaGa Frontier/Unlimited SaGa are what bothered you, this one probably won't be to your liking. In my case, I like Romancing SaGa 2 a lot, and when it comes to the other titles you listed: - I had to wrestle with SaGa Frontier 1 for a while before I enjoyed it, but ultimately liked it. - I also enjoyed SaGa Frontier 2 - Unlimited SaGa should go in a trash fire I think Romancing SaGa 2 is better than all of those games, but it's also very different outside of some combat mechanics and level progression.
Is RomSaGa3 as good as 2 in your opinion Shaun? They are oddballs for sure. I don't know what I excpected, but it was definitely not what I found in it. It takes some time to figure things our, guides are not a bad thing. It's just not what you excpect when you hear rpg, but the more I play the more I like it. It grows on you .. - or you end up despising it.
Hmm. Thanks, Shaun. I think I'll pick it up, but I'm going to wait until Real Life (tm) slows down a little. Diving into a lengthy RPG, even on mobile, will be more appealing after I'm done moving.
SaGa2 is a pretty tough game I started playing it with the Japanese language version then moved over to English Version and still have both installed It's like you said winter it can be super frustrating or fun just in how you look at it This is the only I have ever played would love to play 3 Any chance that one will come mobile too one day? By the way Shaun said he likes 2 best of all of them
I believe it's a good chance we will see it. They do love putting out their old games thankfully, but I guess it depends on how this did. They have lots to pick from that we haven't seen yet. I thought SaGa was an odd choice to start with, would have expected Seiken D. 3, but I'm not really complaining. How far did you get Dailon? I have started on a new playthrough.
Shaun, can I suggest a game for your reload longlist, if it isn't already there? How about Nobunaga's Ambition, or Romance of the Three Kingdoms 2? Love to know how they stack up in today's iOS market, six years after their release. Looks like both have been updated to iOS 9 too, so Koei Tecmo are doing their bit.
Great ideas and can't wait to read it! I too am surprised they have stayed up to date but thankful they have. Excellent games. I played Nobunga's Ambition on NES back in the day it was a bit over my head since I was only a kid but I remember learning all I could about it until I got it down
I would love to see Monster RPG 2. From the earlier days of iOS gaming. It's still getting updated actually. I never got really far, but I want to play it again. Is that on your list?
What's coming today and what are you playing now? Got me curious Its final fantasy VIII haha jk wish I loved reload too!! Record keeper added another Final Fantasy Tactics event which is super cool! I now have all the tactics characters from record keeper Ramza rocks
ドラゴンクエストモンスターバトルスキャナー 冒険の書 by SQUARE ENIX INC https://appsto.re/jp/nuu_cb.i This popped up in Japan App Store a new FTP Dragon Quest game I cant figure out what it is ha appears to be a companion app im stuck at it going to camera mode and wanting me to take a pic of a bar code featured in a DQ game oh well FTP isn't my bag anyways
It's a good game! i'm playing it too and now thanks to Record Keeper adding a FF Tactics event I am back playing that one too and it's a game I should be playing more as it's so good. VI is good stuff you did have me checking to see if FFVIII or DQVII English dropped hahaha
Yeah, this is a companion app for a kids' card game in Japan. The same cards are used to play an arcade game. In case you were wondering where F2P card battlers like Rage of Bahamut got the idea, it's from arcade games like these!
