Sometimes you get why you pay for :)
I have spent as much as 25$ on a mobile game and I don't mean IAP since I have never spent over 5$ on that
I can't wait for Steins;Gate next month some of their games are 30$ on Japan App Store so wil be interesting to see how that goes I for one will buy it right away. I am not rich I just have a gaming budget :)
And I want more ports from square and best way to push that along is support and I own every premium game square makes well except chaos rings 2 and 3 for one 2 is gone and only reason I haven't dove into 3 is cuz I hated chaos rings 1 so I'm curious is chaos rings 3 much diff than 1 cuz it does look way good and I want it but I don't want to be let down either.
And winter I like final fantasy legends more than möbius js

Me too! I bought it having only played the GBA one, which I still own and also play on GBA4iOS still. But this one was a nice, challenging surprise. I fell asleep to my college roommate playing it for my first year of college.

That was some good sleep :)
And for those who may be curious Breath of Fire 6 is basically Monster Hunters Explore reskinned but I guess maybe it's cuz I like breathe of fire it's okay just not a true game more FTP stuff. It's rated very low but updated right after I downloaded it so not sure what all was fixed but it runs good. There is great graphics and some good voiceovers but like I said it's a game I have more or less played before reskinned. Now I'm going to play it some more haha

What part of Chaos Rings 1 did you not like? If it's just the story, then you will probably enjoy Chaos Rings 3 more, since the two games aren't really connected storywise (CR3 just makes several references/easter eggs to CR1). Either way, you should still try out Chaos Rings 3, it's probably one of the best RPGs on the App Store. I spent the full $20 the day it released. I've managed to rack up about 65 hours of game time (pretty insignificant compared to several others on the CR3 thread, who've played for hundreds of hours!), and enjoyed every minute of it.

    Got a question
Isn't there a trick to keep chaos rings part I from crashing in the intro
    I can't remember it thanks!
I swear I played this on ios9 using a trick
Found it you turn the voice off and that usually works

Chaos rings III is great by the way thanks
Went back and played I and I like it better this time around than last but at that time I was playing a lot of diff games and space was an issue too

I agree completely. If someone told me years ago one day I can play FF's on my phone and FFX on my Vita I might have laughed. The library we have now is an RPGamer's dream and I want it to continue.

Nice! I'm still absorbed in KH Unchained so I couldn't get into Mobius at this time.

Möbius to me just isn't that great
Graphics and all are great but gameplay and battles don't do it for me really it's a card battle game nothing like the other final fantasy FTP games and I am sure for some that's a good thing but to me it just looks good and ends there I find record keeper to be way better
Chaos rings III is unbelievable to me I just didn't expect it to be this awesome
Yes you are right too we can count ourselves lucky to have all these great RPGs on mobile it rocks!
By the way do you play any of the Kemco RPG games
I have about 8 of them on my phone and some of them are good games

I'm with Dailon on this one - I didn't love CR1 either. Played it a bit, then deleted it. However, I downloaded it again when they took down CR1 and CR2, to make sure I didn't lose it, so I intend to give it another shot.

Have you tried putting your device into airplane mode with wifi off before opening CRI? That's usually my first solution to some of these crashes. It works on LEGO Star Wars and it used to work on CRIII before they updated it.

Chaos Rings 2 taught me a good lesson about spending big on games in the iOS environment.

You run a very good chance of never being able to play the game again if you uninstall the game temporarily to free up some space or you update your iOS version.

Apart from that you are good to go with Apple. #

    You're right on that one
I miss Bioshock a whole lot but it's a risk
At same time consoles can go bad etc games are never permanent really
Kind of like tapes, CDs, then mp3s I've bought same albums a few times I have to have pink Floyd dark side of the moon in any format possible :)
Same way I have rebought final fantasy games over the years

I do have a PS2 with final fantasy 7,9,10 and 10-2 on it
I have FFVIII but only disc 1 which sucks but u have it on steam now
My kids like playing the PS2 plus I have a store nearby that sales tons of old ps2 games for cheap

I couldn't resist and decided to redownload Chaos Rings III. I'm a bit disappointed that I have to start over, but it gives me an excuse to play through the game again without using the date trick :)

Yeah, I stuck with iOS 8 for way too long just to be able to play Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. Thankfully, that one got fixed, and I can be on iOS 9. But, at the cost of Bioshock, Chaos Rings I & II, as well as many others. I learned this lesson much sooner thanks to the long-abandoned Crimson Gem Saga, which I never got to finish. That was such a good game on iOS at the time.

I think I find more comfort in those video games that I know will be widely accessible, like Final Fantasy VI, VII, & IX, Dragon Quest games, LEGO games, Broken Sword series, Football Manager series, etc. Even if I never had a smart phone again, I know I could easily play these games on my computers or other widely-available consoles. And that gives me comfort, feeling like investing time into these games won't be a waste. But then again, I'm a nostalgic kind of person, so that's important to me in gaming.

I have already got my money's worth with these games tons of hours meaning my FF and DQ games plus TWEWY
I make sure I play my more expensive games more often ha that way if they go away I got something out of it but I really think that way about it when I'm gaming and speaking of that I need to play FFXIII, XIII-2 and XXX-3 more since they cost me a shiny penny on Japan store ;)
Ready to drop some big money on Steins;Gate that's really game im most excited for. I've almost bought it so many times from Japan but would prefer a game with that much text to be English so it will be easier to understand

I do play Kemco games Dailon! My biggest issue have been some being very easy. But Asdivine Hearts has a difficult setting and it seems great! I started, but then I had too many at once so I will continue it later.

Right now I'm absorbed in FFVIII on my Vita and KH Unchained. Also I'm trying to finish Alpha Saphire on 3DS before Pokemon Sun/Moon comes out. We will have a Pokemon weekend then and I want to be up to date. And playing Chrono Trigger with a friend. Wow I really do have lots now. That's just a few of my started ones lol.

Not to mention Pokemon Go.... We're getting in good shape her. 80 km walked in three weeks #

You're a busy gamer! and much more organized about it than me
I bet FFVIII on Vita is great! I just have always loved that game and Irvine is my fav FF character which is why I'm stoked I got his 5 star unique on record keeper
I have only disc 1 on my ps2 version so I play it on steam but I just don't mess w my PC much and would love to put more time into it
It's nostalgia when VIII came out I was stoked and played it all the time and got absorbed in it and I just want to see it on mobile one day and I think it can still happen
My question is we have I-VII and IX so why not VIII what is it about the game that has made it not possible so far since they were able to get IX on mobile? Missing files etc just curious as to why it hasn't happened

I'm sure I read Shaun or someone writing that FFVIII is simply a bigger game in terms of file size than FFIX - and it would break Apple's maximum file size limit. They could maybe cede a little space by compressing the music or dropping an FMV sequence or something but - to their credit - it doesn't seem as though Square Enix want to compromise on any of their ports. I imagine Apple will gradually ease up on file size limits in the future, as devices and storage continue to improve, and then FFVIII will then just pop up out of the blue, ready to go.
