Just tried Other M for half an hour. My verdict is, that it's amazing. I never doubted it would be, but the game feels too right to not commend. Absolutely cannot wait to dig into it over the weekend. I personally think Samus has a really fitting voice and the auto aiming really is a valuable feature. Tree-men-dous.
It's gotten really mixed reception, but most of the concerns seem to be directed at the fact that they gave Samus a voice (I think she's done pretty well though, from what I've seen). I'm planning on getting this, I just need to acquire the money to do so... And oh man, you should see the feminists' responses, it's hilarious. Seriously, feminists should never be allowed to touch video games.
If anything I said in my comment resonates at all mate, then you'll love it. Feminists love to moan about everything. Mind you, most of them are probably jealous of her lovely pixel arse. It's a peach!
How is it on the length aspect? And considering this was co-developed by Team Ninja, they should just be grateful that they didn't give her armor boob jiggle physics.
G4 game it 2/5 stars... but IGN gave it 8.5, lol I'm gonna get it because I've bought all other metroid games, besides metroid II, I wish it was the traditional sidescroller though, not all this 2.5D Stuff
Couldn't tell you bro, apparently it's under 10 hours. But I'm pretty sure enthusiasts will want to blitz it for collectibles and to run it on the hardest difficulty. I'd say for £29 on Shopto.Net. You can't go wrong for value mate. I reckon the cut scenes alone warrant a play of the game. They look sublime! EDIT: G4 are pretty shite, I would always check out an average on Metacritic, which is around 80%... Not bad considering the game has skewed consumers either way of love and hate.
