I love my dsi. I've been playing pokemon heart gold a ton (400+ hours) but once I played my friend's white version, I feel like I'm gonna wait til it comes in the us. I also have super scriblenauts preordered and am really excited for that.

from what iv read it kicks the ipod's ass in playable time.
and i dunno, its only logical the battery life would be less having more powerful hardware.. but my guess is the 3d will kick any ipods battery life with out blinking.

    According to Wikipedia:

    Original DS: 10-14 hours
    DS Lite: 15-19 hours
    DSi: 9-14 hours
    DSi XL: 13-17 hours

The 3DS is targeted to match the DSi's battery life, so 9-14.

    Doing nothing of importance.

Couldn't agree more. Sure, it's a fun game, and I've put a lot of time into Gold version, but 400+ hours? That's just... ridiculous.

I thought I was a huge hardcore Pokemon fan. I just put in my 100th hour of HeartGold yesterday.

Wanna know what's weird? I've never owned any iteration of the DS. *Hangs head in shame*

I like ev training and iv breeding without the use of external devices. And yes it's pretty pathetic, but I was really into wifi battles.

    Anyways, who's getting super scribblenauts?

What exactly is Scribblenauts? I've heard of it before, but no more than basic mentioning.

Then again, I really don't want to buy any brand new DS games anymore... The only thing that could get me to buy one would be either some ridiculously awesome RPG, a new Phoenix Wright game, or a game based off of Hellsing. And I don't see any of those happening in the near future.

All DS discussions and arguments are ended with this: Bangai-O. You're welcome. Enjoy the best game on Earth.

  15. Words cannot describe how frustrated I became at this game... in the best way possible. :p

Anyone with a NDS needs to get The World Ends With You, the single best handheld game ever created. Why? What about fantastic sprite graphics with excellent animation, superb Jpop, Jrap, Jrock sountrack (seriously, I never thought I would have liked that), incredible story with excellent character development and plot twists that you don´t see coming, the best combat of any recent JRPG, and finally, the best post-game content ever.

It ain´t hypebole, TWEWY is as good as it gets.

Man I hate TWEWY. Not that I'm trying to burst your bubble or anything... I just found it insulting how they tried so hard to "get down with the kids!" by giving it a "cool & hip!" art style and "funky!" script. I felt like an idiot even trying to get into a game like that. The developer interview only made it worse.

    "Totally rad, dude!".

To be fair though, the game itself... well it was uh, average. I guess. I got a few hours in. Kinda needlessly complex in areas and a little mundane in others. I got Castlevania at the same time so at least I had something to fall back on.

Edit: I love how my attempt at saying something good about TWEWY boiled down to mentioning a different game.

Looks like they fixed the control problems. Sounds great now.

I got super scribblenauts (along with my headphones :))

I must say that the control scheme is sooooo much better. Using adjectives is pretty fun too. The puzzles seem to be more varied instead of just using the same words each time. I am really enjoying it so far.
