With all due respect, I've played twice and won twice, and I thought the challenge level was reasonable. The strategy here is more complex than it appears at first. If you just slap cards any old place you are going to lose. Edit: I actually think the ability to flip through the cemetery makes the game too easy.
Thanks, we're working on that in another big update to coincide with the HD release in October, it'll be our first DLC card pack for expansion at 0.99 cents, with not only new cards, but also a whole new game-changing feature (not the board game--yet), but I think it's something which will add some more fun and diversity to the game. I'll keep everyone informed as we begin building it. The pack will have a lot of new cards, as well as a new level of game-play and interaction built into them, so wer'e adding another layer to the game engine, and not just duplicating cards or throwing a few new ones out there for a buck. Btw, if anyone has any ideas/suggestions of what kinds of cards they'd like to see in the expansion, what you think the game needs more of, now's the time to put them out here. I'm making and organizing a list right now... Thanks!
Bought this game and I think it's very similar to Dungeon Solitaire but way more complicated. I need to play more to increase my learning curve. Love this kind of game.
Got a couple comments. One, it would be nice if winning gave you additional points, because as it is now, I get more points by decking than by winning, which seems backwards. And two, I ran into a bug that's similar to a bug in the previous version - somehow I managed to get a card at zoomed in size moved down to the corner of the screen. I think what happened was that I was zoomed in on the card, then double tapped, and the card moved back to the deck but didn't zoom out. See below. Eventually I fixed it I think by getting the next card and playing it (though I can't remember for sure).
hi, thanks, I'll fix it in nearest update, as far you got it by unusual taps on cards, I hope its not major issue btw screenshot looks cool ta-ta-ta
ok, we will submit ArkhamPI update in nearest hour, and a small update for Necronomicon game will be submitted most likely tomorrow or so ; )
Have had fun with the game, although my two wins out of three games so far have both been easily accomplished with supercharged, unbeatable Scholars. ^_^ Couple of issues I've noticed: On the descriptive card catalog pages, Chimerical Saltes has a Sanity of "random_", and Alchemical Tinctures has a Defense of "random_". Medicine Cabinet has a Sanity of "randomA', and Alchemist's Kitchen has a Defense of "randomA". Tapping the backspace button on the high score entry screen while the characters have been shifted to upper case produces the text "BACK" instead of deleting the previous character.
hi, thanks, yeap its already fixed and an update will be submitted today or tomorrow ; ) we are adding now also achievements and posibility to share them by facebook, twitter, email, read-it-later and few other services - trying now to make possible to share also a cool image with achievements/scores info ; )
I will be following the progress of this game with interest. With fixes and additional content, I can see this becoming a classic. I just hope we don't have to wait too long between updates.
I'm looking forward to seeing the ArkhamPI update. The ads spoil the look and atmosphere of the whole thing; I know it's a free supplement app, but I wish there was a way of disabling the ads for customers who have paid for Necronomicon. And I hope the update shows the cards in full screen mode, like they do in Necronomicon.
your wish is already reality ; ) the ArkhamPI is "waiting for review" by Apple, so will come in 5-6 days, there are no ads and cards are fullscreen. Only one thing is that we decided to remove str/san labels etc and show native nice art, it can be changed later in another update, but lets try this way : )
Hi, we'll be adding new cards and introducing another element to the game in an update I hope to get out by Halloween. There will be a little bit of everything in this, and I'll have more to say about it later after everything's working as it should be. More important, tell us what you'd like to see...?
Personally I really like customization of some sort in my games. The kind that has functional effect in the game, so I can play the way I want. In the context of this game it'd be nice to able to customize the deck. But I realize that would affect balance.

Thanks for the awesome list of updates! As far as the HD Version, do you have plans to make it universal?
Hello, the HD version of Necronomicon will be a separate app, and support the higher resolution of those devices. So there will be one version for older devices (the current game) and another that supports iPad, retina-display, and any other higher-end devices Apple releases in future.
