cool, now I can show you the example, how developers getting troubles, where from one side people using iPad primary and don't want pay twice, and from another haven't free space on device to install 200-300Mb games. So Im asking an advice to all sweet people what to do and don't have "you're making mistakes" comments about actions (and actually it took a while to get iPad, which is even now not ready, so Dustin wrote correct, the iphone-game version was released at start of October or something yes? and now Apple is going to vacations at the end of month, so iPad version will be released in 2011, not sooner I think).
I think you should make the game universal because you cant share download content IAPS between apps, and it could be a pain in the ass.
yes, that makes big sense. So only way I see now is to think about a way to delete part of game "from game in-side after launch". So if you're using iPad - you can launch the game, go to options and click "Delete iphone version, I don't need that ever on this device" - and app will take 2-3 times less space.
the same here. I bought long ago and went through lot of crashing on my ipad. Just make universal or make a totally different game. An alternative .... give a promo code for the HD to people who can prove have bought it for an ipad now. That would be ok for me Or at least keep it at the same price!!!!
All hail the mighty Cthulhu! Thanks for the wallpaper! (I am cropping the seal for my iPod Touch 4) As a developer myself (on some other platforms), I total respect if you guys would want a separate version for iPad (My wilfie is going to get one -- some day). I would very much appreciate if an app goes universal, but frankly, this is a pure form of love from the developers and it is not a must. But your dedications and responsiveness on this forum already worth the price of a "HD" version. Keep up the good work!
yeap, my one another app's update also still "waiting for review" already 9 days. I can understand that Apple is pretty filled now with new games... But 9-10 days actually is ok, as far in most cases releases can happens in 6-11 days.
Really like the new icon, not that there was anything wrong with the old one. This one just seems to have more of an air of foreboding.
Wow. I feel sorry for this developer. Sounds like the game is literally cursed. This thread is really entertaining. I bought the game when it came out, had the same crashing problems, got my refund and deleted it long ago. Obviously nowhere near ready for release.
Necronomicon HD Beta Next week I expect Necronomicon HD will go into beta testing, and following that we'll be testing for iphone/ipod touch 4. We already have a pool of testers for older devices and models on the current version. If you have an iPad, or iPhone/iPod Touch4 and would like to help us test the HD version, please sign up over on our forums. Thanks!
