    So, 3.0 doesn't allow access to my music collection for games? Could you explain it a bit more please as I don't under stand what it actually is meant to do >.<;

    I wonder how they're getting by piracy laws with the whole mp3 upload thing.

    It will allow you to directly control music in an app like in the ipod portion but it doesn't give devs the ability to read the music files which is necesary for apps like Audiosurf.

    So its more of a in depth version of the Double Tap of the Home Button?

    MP3 are only upload to your own account. So essentially there is no massive pirate server. Since the mp3s are for your personal use and is not being distributed it is perfectly legal:)

    Nothing is stopping the admins of that site from taking any mp3s that are uploaded and saving them to their hard drive, but that wouldn't affect app approval because what happens at the site isn't happening with the app. Users would have to be able to download music not on their account. Apple may be monitoring this just to make sure someone isn't using a cracked app to download music uploaded by other users.

    There is still hope for Audiosurf. They could use the same loophole BeatRider uses. However, they will need to get servers and whatnot. Might be costly.

    There a billion and one other ways to download free music off the internet if you so wish. I don't think Beatrider is gonna cause any problems.

    Yeah I know what you are saying, but there is no difference between uploading music to you account on beatrider, or uploading your music to an online server such as Box.net. Yes its possible for the administrators to take the music for themselves, but as far as distribution its very unlikely.
