yes, all the apps are all still there and perfectly fine...you've just been reduced back down to the default 11 pages again
If I recall you still can only have 600 apps installed on the phone after that things get very unstable.
I have 19 pages from doing the glitch trick and I have never had any problems. It's awesome. I just wish Apple would add more pages for us.
i have like bout 136. been cleanin my pages out recently tho, tired of having apps on there that i never use
I was going to do that but some people said they had problems so i just keep the rest of my apps hidden. I just have a long note of all my hidden apps.
Wait until you get over 2200 apps in I-tunes and your memory foot print for the program gets over 3 gig and ever thing comes crashing down. I-tunes has a memory leak/problem that apple still hasn't fixed.
Since I reach most apps with the search function anyways and can search for something just like "e" and all apps with the letter "e" will appear, it is, technically, easy enough to live with many unseen apps BUT, as I go through so darned many apps, I hate having them out of view as I'll then not even know what to search to bring them back up ("Hmm, what was that space shooter with the blue aliens called again?").
So what do you do? Did you glitch extra pages or do you just have hidden apps? I'm still unsure if I want the extra pages or to just leave the extra apps hidden.
I have a crapload of extra pages (22 now) so it is my preferred method. Since using the Application tab of the Sync section in iTunes will break my extra pages, the only way I can DELETE an app from my iPod Touch is to be able to see its icon.
I have 16 pages of apps thnx to more pages glitch. I havn't had any issues and I doubt I will. It's a simple procedure. The only way you loose you pages is if you access the applications tab in iTunes while connected through USB. You can sync, again just don't access the applications tab. I tell you it's a good feeling to see ALL of your apps on your pages. I deleted my note that kept a record of previous hidden apps.
I prefer to delete my apps through my iPhone and I like how the vacant space stays open now even after a reboot. I can now just install a new app or move an app to that vacant space without it installing on the last page, I always hated that. . Hell, I don't even need to access the applications tab anymore.
