Never really got to enjoy The Longest Journey at all. I remember though it being in the clunky sized computer game boxes. I was in my MMORPG period of my life, discovering the world of Everquest and Ultima Online. I had a distaste for Funcom because of Anarchy Online. I have played tons of point and clicks, maybe this will nostalgia me and make it worth purchasing. Can anyone vouch on the quality of this game story wise? I love point and clicks from the earlier PC gaming era; Quest for Glory, Kings Quest, Kyrandia. I had loads of fun with point of clicks, hopefully they haven't lost there luster, since PC gaming has evolved so much.

There doesn't appear to be any aspect ratio problems on iPad.

Also do yourself a favour and turn on "time skip" in the options. It allows you to double tap to quick travel like esc does on PC. I hate how some other point and clicks make you spend half the game watching your character walk.

This game is amazing. Anyone that enjoys a story driven experience should look no further!

It has a fantasy, adult story with deep characters like no other. One of the best Point and Click adventure games I've ever played.

    Highly recommended.

Oh hell yeah, a remastered bladerunner would indeed be stunning. I remember it came on two or three cd's? My pentium PC could only just run it at the time. Loads of cutscenes and very faithful to the film

Problem is I don't think that Blade Runner is for sale anywhere and is essentially abandonware. It's the 11th most requested game on GOG with 18k votes.

The genius of that Bladerunner game was the multiple endings.

Imagine that remade on a new generation console.

    *faints again, never wakes up*

Blade runner is one game I've always regretted missing.

Finally, one of my all time favourite PC games has been released worldwide for the iPad, and of course I hit that buy button instantly.

Guys, is there a way to bail out of a conversation? I'm stuck talking to the bartender friend going through the same dialogue over and over. Even when I get to "that's all I wanted to know" it gives me the same dialogue choices again. Help! I've tapped everywhere looking for an exit.

Added later: ok, now I saw one of the reviewers in the App Store answered this question. (Swipe left). But I went back to the game which had closed itself while I was browsing for answere, and found that it had not saved my progress. Apparently you need to manually save.

It's also inconvenient the the game runs upside down on the iPad because the cover only attaches one way. ThT means that I cant roll my iPad cover the usual way to prop up the top of the device because it's now on the bottom while playing the game. I want to really love this game but these issues really must be fixed! The "developer website" link in the App Store takes you to a game landing page with no contact info! Come on, guys. I know you're a small team but.... Come on!

So serious question... How difficult is this game?

I'm not the smartest when it comes to puzzles, crap I got stumped on a few parts of The Last Door, even.

I don't want to have to use hints at every point in the game, but reading one of the harder puzzles has me worried a bit.

I don't think the puzzles are particularly hard, but I am having to refer to a walkthrough rather a lot because there are lots of "... Then go back to..." situations that you would never guess. If you don't use the walkthrough you'd have to go and re-explore places at random to see if the next step occurs there.

It's a great adventure story so I think worth playing even with the walkthrough.

Can anyone confirm that this works on the latest iOS (9.2)?

I received an email from Funcom saying that they have "no updates" on if this will be receiving a 64 bit update for iOS 11. So enjoy it while you still can people!
