The character portrait there on he bottom left and the 3 big circular icons on the right block quite a bit of game real estate, I think it would be a good idea to make these changes. The character portrait can be made smaller and moved to the upper left side as that’s the standard in these types of games where there is a character portrait like that. The 3 menu icons on the right can also be made significantly smaller and moved to the upper right corner, I might even suggest them to be on an expanding and collapse able button where you only see 1 of the 3 icons, click it and it pulls down the other 2. I think it might be a good idea to make both the portrait and the icons disappear completely while your party is moving about the maps and only allow them to appear if you stop moving that way while you’re exploring the games environment they aren’t blocking anything but still easy to access. I’m aware I haven’t bought or played the game yet but I plan to and with my 30 some odd years of gaming experience I still felt the need to say SOMETHING. Who knows, maybe some of what I’ve suggested is already how it is and I just didn’t notice it. Also from the looks of it you’ve decided to go with a click to move option, which I’m sure SOME people might like but I promise a majority of gamers aren’t keen on this type of movement most would rather see an analog stick or something in the bottom left corner (transparent, only shows when your thumbs down in that area, when you’re moving) I’m guessing you didn’t go with that option because the portraits down there but if you take in account my previous suggestion and move it to the top and make it smaller then having a transparent analog stick in the bottom left won’t be an issue but will make exploring feel a bit more natural. I don’t even know if the developer is gonna be active here or not I could just send out an email to em I guess lol Phil@sbeargames likes this. Love it! The actor icons on the left side disappear when the actors comes near them. We decided to pick this size of the right buttons because they fit better to fingers. But if more and more players will give this feedback, we will change it. Really love the amount of feedback here. Pretty constructive! Thanks a lot. Please do not forget to rate and review the app in the AppStore. This will help to make the app more visible. It´d be done in a few secs and would be very nice as a reward for the 2 years of development. A couple of quick notes: - you should make it clearer that tapping with two fingers brings you back to the previous screen. Maybe it was in there, but I ended up discovering by accident after almost deleting the game because it I thought it was broken - the menu icons are not clear, and you see the label only after you click on them and return to the previous screen. Also, you should make sure that the inventory, skill etc. screens have their own headlines. - the pathfinding on the tap-to-move system is not great. Not a priority item, but maybe something to develop further. In any event, congrats on the release! Phil@sbeargames likes this.
