The Labyrinth 2 Level Editor/User Levels Discussion Topic!

  1. I love the way L2 lite creates a picture of your level pack! Anders, are the features in L2 lite the ones for L2 1.1?

    When you finish a level pack, there are 4 row/line things, on the second one you see your time and you unlocked achievements, and the third one is empty. You should definitely change that so the time is displayed on the 3rd.

    About this:

    * Added support for labyrinth2://LEVELPACKID links. If you click on a link in an email or an site (on your phone) the game is launched and you get to the download page with the level pack in focus and can download/play with one click

    * Fixed bug with download sound not always played when generating previews

    * Time played is now saved when a level is restarted, you go to the main menu or skip levels

    * Fixed bugs causing crashes when going into info screen and back (unusual)

    * Disabled auto-complete in search field

    * UI tweaks (moved stuff a pixel or two)

    * Changed "Tap anywhere to resume" to "Tap here to resume".

    * Added option to enable/disable "tilt affects view" (yourpersonalrobot and a bunch of others wanted this)

    * Added functionality for generating a wallpaper/poster of level packs so you can easily show them to friends etc.

    * Added Facebook and Twitter integration for the aforementioned feature, share with one click. Also via email.

    * New ball rolling sound on wood, a bit more coarse due to dust etc, the old one was too clean

    * Fixed awards related bugs. You will now get the award for beating the designer's time.

    * Added info about the current level you are playing when pausing the game (level number and name of level pack)

    * Optimized preview generation to make UI snappy and more responsive

    * Lots of other small bugs fixed that no-one is ever likely to notice

    * And probably something more that I have forgotten about

    Awesome, I'll finally be able to get my award for beating 75 creator times! Plus I've actually found someone that can help me with the multiplayer awards, he had to travel 3000 miles from the US so I could do it :p
     
  14. Wow, a lot of work for an award. I play with mah brother all the time...but he's getting better, so I'm not sure if I'll ever get the 20 games won in a row one...(18 is my top)

    Oh, and I forgot to mention that the merry-go-round now can go the other way, and also change direction if you want to. It's not enabled in the editor right now but will be when the update is out.

    It was more work than expected to keep backwards compatibility. It'll be included in the next update instead.

    Hi,

    For Enigma level 9, I see the arrows and I try to go as fast as possible but it seems that I'm always too slow. What am I doing wrong??? Please help! Thanks.

    Basically hold the device at a 90 degree angle to make it roll straight down. Then angle it slightly so it doesn't roll staright to the goal but rather a bit beside it, that should give you enough time to make it through.
