It looks great! I like level packs that are clean, and challenging. It seems you're doing that now, great!

No problem :) Do you have any levels finished, so you can post a screenshot? Or do you have any level packs published?

I understand what you mean. No I don't think it's possible right now. I'll add it to our list.

Yeah it's not a full relational database where you can search using multiple fields:

But we will go over this one more time. Perhaps we can have three databases and use one db for each search option. However, that might push us over the quota limits, I dunno, I didn't implement those parts. But we'll see what we can do.

Why make 3 databases when you now can search on multiple fields in 1 database? Or did I get that wrong?

No you can't, that's the limitation in the datastore. And that's why you can only search by ID right now.

I thought you just said the limitation is gone now o_O Oh well, I think it's more important to be able to click a link and then go in the app to a level pack. What will happen by the way when you click a link on the computer? Can't you make the database accessible in an internet browser?

Well when we implemented the game the limitation was still there. However, App Engine is still in Beta so they might change things over time.

It's def possible, but I guess it would take a couple of weeks to implement something neat and useful. We have talked about doing some kind of web based level browser, yes, but we haven't decided anything yet.

I would really like to have a level browser, then I don't have to go in L2 all the time, to find out I already own it :S

I have made 2 levels for this level pack. No, I have not made any other level packs/levels apart from these two.

I'll post the two levels I have done below.

I have already started the third level and it's coming along nicely (thanks again for the tip).

    Mad :)

    Finished my third level!

This is much simpler thank the other two however still is challenging, in a different way.

The aim of the game as usual is to get to the goal, however, you have got to be quick because that annoying wall is going to block the exit! As the wall moves along, it also blocks/unblocks other pathways that you need to pass through. This level is all about speed and I have tried to time it so that it's challenging, yet achievable.

    Here's the screen shot...

Sure, I'll just go and write it down somewhere...

Anyways, just taking a break to think up some new ideas for the next levels.

    Mad

sometimes you can look through the pics of levels and kind of base your levels off others... obviously dont copy them, but you could use the same idea if you are stuck. the most original levels are in the medium section IMO

    Hi starmonkey

I was actually just playing your levels just a second ago, to get some ideas. What a coincidence (good levels BTW).

Yeah, I'm just playing a load of other levels just to get some ideas.

Thanks for the tip, I'll def keep that in mind when stuck for ideas.

thanks! i really appreciate it! always try to make the most original levels that nobody has thought of. also, if they are polished (and it looks like you take that seriously:D) then that adds a sense of awesomeness!
