I did try to make it hard! With each section of the levels, I set it up so that I could get past it... then I adjusted it slightly until I couldn't get past it anymore, and left it like that. Then I practiced until I found a way past
It was pretty good, some interesting ideas. Some objects seemed a little bit out of place in some levels though.
need some help with my first level in a currently unnamed pack. To grab the player I've enclosed a 'treat' in the first level... YES, IT'S MEGAMAN! Took me a long time to implement and although it's not pixel perfect it's pretty damn close. The rest of the level is what is bugging me. I can't figure out how it should play through. My main idea is that the level should revolve around megaman's gun shooting a laser but it still leaves me wondering whether: a) I should have him dual-wielding lasers like in the image; b) whether I should replace his gun with a cannon that switches on when you trip another switch/laser; c) whether you try and defeat megaman or help him; d) what will actually happen. Thanks for your help!
I love the way you used the objects as hints! I think it's so funny to see the objects turn on and off while doing the level, and you had me with the last level, where I pressed the blue button in the last row, and the door closed, I really was shocked, but then another blue button appeared... haha! 5/5 + fave, and a subscribtion when possible [Anders, that might be a good thing to discuss, a subscribtion where you automatically download the levels of people you're subscribed to] . Great levels!
thank you very much i loved the enigma pack and i wanted to make one similar to it, but with less guess and check if you know what i mean... (no offense to him) but i think anders was confused about my levels when he first played them... if you look a previous posts, it says that he thought some if not all of the objects were irrelevant.... hahaha.... but i think he understands now
I actually knew it were hints since you told Anders, but nevermind ;-) Anders, it would be helpful when you can add text to a level (for a period of time, or untill something happens, etc.) just like in the tutorial, that would be really helpful. You then i.e. could give warnings, or hints, or you could just explain something.
hahaha... i hope people can figure it out that the objects are hints though! and i agree. i wish we could put text in sometimes... but, people might put "bad" things in the texts,,, and illusion labs doesnt have control over what people put in their creations... and the texts could get annoying... maybe if there was a way to turn them off in a level...
Not me, but that's because (too bad) it's also possible in level 3... It would be easy to turn the text 'messages' off indeed, just a button next to the ghost (in the level menu) button. Great idea!
I figured it out after a long time, so I don't think most people will figure it out. I'm currently playing much too badly by Gerhard J., ID: A477CEU9 . When I was the creator I'd call it Total Awesomness, it's really good, you definitely should give it a try!
thats ok... i had asked the same question before... go to quick links on the top right... scroll down to sig... you can take it from there
