I've been meaning to ask you guys, which theme do you prefer? The classic wood or metal? We'll be adding a new theme in an update, and I was just curious. (I'll post this in the other thread as well, sorry for double posting)
I still like the look of classic wood over metal. I think I prefer a more organic look for this game. Hope new themes would be stuff like grass or felt. (Sorry if it has announced or suggested, I haven't had time to read this whole thread in detail.)
No we haven't announced it yet, but we have already decided what it'll be and will start on it soon. It'll be clean and fit the game though. Felt is a good suggestion btw.
in the fourth level the door had a lot of scripts probably i must have been more careful I'm curious to know what you think of the last level..it was of bad-taste for you ?
I think it didn't really fit the rest of the pack, which makes it harder to rate (i.e. the last level was very easy compared to the rest)
I ended up having to move it, cause the ball could not go through lol. I was just to lazy to get a new pic of it
I like the wooden theme best, I don't really like metal that much. It's still fun playing levels that use it so I won't complain, I just doubt I'll ever use it myself.
hey Anders! I got an idea for a theme. how about a snow theme? the ground is snow and you leave a trail which disappears and the walls are just snow/ice walls. and a new item could be a snowman! it would be so awesome!
What about a glass theme where you see the next level(s) under it? Or maybe a little thing underneath where the ball comes in when it falls in a hole? Look forward to it!
That could look nice if done properly... but if the snow/ice actually had an effect on the ball and made it even more sensitive than it is already... we can prepare for the most annoying level packs to date.
You could make a super-annoying-and-difficult ice theme where the bottom is ice so it takes longer for the ball to stop
I thought you were gonna suggest using the iPhone's camera to make it look as though the whole iPhone was a glass marble maze that you can see right through to whatever is behind. Which... would be cool, but I'm not sure the iPhone is up to doing it effectively enough yet.
