Sure, but I realized that my idea isn't actually original at all. For some reason, I had it in my head that starting the game on an X2 and then having one ball solve the puzzle while the other one waits at a door near the exit was ingenious, when I realized that 90% of the X2 puzzles work similar to this anyway. Or better. Oh well, it was still worth the hour or however long it took to create this level, which I think is pretty fun. I want to tweak it a bit to make it harder, though.
I'm very glad you enjoyed my levels Anders! Yeah, I'm big on checkpoints because without them, you can be stuck on a level for a VERY long time!
Only if it's total crap like the one I just downloaded. Bumpers and cannons all over the place, 99% of the time I was killed before my ball could move from the starting position
What are people thinking when they make those kind of levels? I think they should be challenging but not to the point where its just pure frustration!
Yep it on my first page too next to all my "keepers." I was kinda skeptical about paying $4.99 for it but after trying the lite version and and seeing how much people liked it on this thread i bought it and have no regrets. And with the level creator and with the user submitted levels its defiantly worth a download so if your so if your thinking about buying it just do it!
Wow, I'm kinda surpirsed my PAC(k) MAN level pack is still in the top downloaded and played. Interesting, considering the fact I put in more effort into my other packs which aren't anywhere.
Have you promoted them? After I promoted my level pack here on TA, I noticed my level pack move up in the 'Top Downloaded' and 'Played'
Here's the first four levels of my new level pack. Any suggestions on what I can make better? Also, suggestions for the name of the pack would be appreciated! (I can't think of one! )
There are official levels which feel similar. For me, there are two kinds of levels: 1. Solve them with skill and logic. 2. Pray. The Pray-Levels are the levels, which are full of bumbers, cannons and ventilators, where you need pure luck to solve them. Especially the ones, where everything is full with the blue cannons. Makes no fun at all.
Looks like good fun! I personally isn't that fond of overlapping objects (i.e. the lasers and the bumpers, the slingshots). Also, it's usually nicer to look at if the merry-go-rounds aren't at the same angle.
Level Pack A Day How would it sound if I tried to make and hopefully publish a good level pack a day! You guys could give me ideas.
Thanks! And yea, with the slingshots, I wasn't too sure about them either. I'll go fix them right now though. And the Merry-Go-Rounds. Thanks for the feedback!
